The aircraft crashed while trying to land at the province's Jolo airport today 04/07/2021 with 92 souls onboard.
Rescue efforts continue with 40 taken to medical facilities and 17 confirmed dead.
Aircraft serial No serial 5125 only delivered January 2021 ex USAF 87-9284.

As a Reservist, I crewed that Herc at the 928th AG, O'Hare ARS.

87-9284 was one of 8 numbered jets for the 928th, hence 9284.
