copying parts.

I've copied a part, the original was prop_still FS9 default animation. I changed the copied part to prop_slow. However the renamed part is showing still in the sim. My question is do copied parts inherit the FS animation from the original part?

Yes they do John, at least in FS9. In FSX and P3D, the animation tag doesn't clone.

So, you have two parts called prop_still and prop_slow? Both will show if those are the part names. To trigger the default visibility, the prop needs a number, eg prop0_still and prop0_slow.
