ETAR Ramstein AB 2022

Just uploaded an FSX version of today's Ramstein AB. On AVSIM and FlightSim.com. Would appreciate constructive (or destructive) comments on improvements as I'm working on a scenery for Rota Naval Base, Spain. Thanks

I had planned on emailing you these, but now I am delighted to post them here for everyone's enjoyment.

The first one is taken from the threshold of RWY 09 looking north, the next one is also from there, but looking south-west towards Landstuhl.

It seems that I can only post two shots at a time, so more in my next post.

Here we are on our take-off roll on RWY 09, and airborne towards the ramp NE of the E end of RWY 09.

And the last one is of the only issue I have seen so far - a rather large "hole" SW of the west end of the runway.

Now, all this is with P3D v. 5.3 HF2.... underlying this is FreeMesh and some German photoscenery, found here:

I converted your AFCAD for P3D with this conversion utility:

which really only was intended to convert from FSX to P3D up to v. 4, but it works so far with v. 5.3 also with all the sceneries I have thrown at it - even FS9 AFCADs!

PS: The likeness to real-life Ramstein is astonishing - I was there a couple of years ago.

Thanks! Haven't seen the hole in FSX. Doesn't mean it isn't there! I will look again. Thanks for the feedback.
