Re: WSMG AI F-16 preview
A choice...
The original Block 30's had the taxi/landing lights on the main gear.
On the CCIP upgrade they were moved to the nose gear door, same as every other Block from 40 onwards.
Which basically means the only visible difference would be the HUD.
So
a) Do as originally manufactured.
b) As a CCIP with modified light location.
Once that decision is made I can crack on with....P3D ONLY

Agree with Pete, looking forward to these for a long time, but I would vote "B".

Question - Why would you do B as it means they would look like every other Block 40 + (I'm assuming here that you have already modeled a Block that looks the same except the HUD) ? Can the HUD be that different?Weescotty wrote: 21 Jun 2023, 11:03 A choice...

Re: WSMG AI F-16 preview
Ok, will do it as the current CCIP version.
I can use XML to choose which HUD to display depending on the aircraft title.
Blue Splinter (there will be around 8 different camo schemes)

Re: WSMG AI F-16 preview
331 (Ex Texas Gunfighters) was transferred to 18 Aggressors. Not in any list (F-16.net or Scramble yet) but is on the Eielson website.
Retains almost all of the Heritage scheme it carried.
Also their first Wraith scheme in the background.

The Block 40/2's had the Wide Angle reflex HUD. (WAR) - was needed for LANTIRN.
Rest have the Wide Angle Conventional HUD. (WAC)

Re: WSMG AI F-16 preview
I just noticed that in the two of the Chile F-16D model folders there two mdl files. One is named WSMG_F16D50_NAVb _MULTI_C2_W53 and the other is named WSMG_F16D50X_NAVb _MULTI_C2_W53. Why is that? Can I delete one of them?
I looked and the Chile F-16 models use the WSMG_F16C50X..... but he F-16D's use the WSMG_F16D50...... is that right? Should the D's use the F-16D50X file?

Re: WSMG AI F-16 preview
Never noticed in before.
To fix properly....
Each of the D models should have an X in them.
F16D50X_etc..etc
You might have to add it to the model.cfg also..
normal=WSMG_F16D50X etc etc etc
The files are identical I believe.

Re: WSMG AI F-16 preview
Have been doing some checks of all my installed models recently and have come up with a missing texture file from the Egyptian block 40 I have on my system.
the texture is "wsmg_f16_weaps_41.dds" and is called from the model "model.F16C40_MULTI_NAVa_C9_W41"
Have had a look at the various zip files you have sent me for testing and the released zips but cannot find it. Have in the short term renamed "wsmg_f16_weaps_40.dds" to cover but this is not completely accurate.
Regards
