The Israeli F-16C Bk30 model could be used as TNI-AU F-16C. This model have Extended Tail, and no IFF Antenna

But not the D, they have Dorsal Spin.

Both the "disappearing runway markings" and the duplicate runway, that the sim sees and ADE not, are completely new to me...

Interesting case!

OK, I've built and compiled (for P3Dv5) a new WARI based on the stock AFCAD, but using FSEarthTiles to ensure it's in the right place. It works fine, and has most of the prototypical parking that I could discern. Feel free to add any more that you want, and there are no buildings on this version. I'm sure some suitable ones are in the MAIW libraries. The parking is generic Mil Combat ac (7m) and Mil Cargo (14m and 20m). The traffic I have is old MAIW Matrix stuff, which in turn dates back to FS9 days, but the little traffic it generates works just fine.

To format it for P3Dv4, just bring it into an instance of ADE that you've opened for that sim, and recompile it. It'll use the v4 PDK to make the compilation, and that should work just fine.

As a quick note here, Kev is moving numerically upwards.
He has not yet reached the block 50s so therefore he has not addressed any specific block 50 mods.

This project is big enough and ugly enough that it really doesn't help if people ask Kev to jump around various sub-marks. This is the way that Kev loses track of what he is doing and it is how things get missed.

Please be patient whilst he works his way though things methodically.

The WARI saga continues....

I started out, using my trusty T-45C, on 35L, runway markings and all present, no diverging taxiways! :D

Then I started taxiing down the runway, and turned right at the first intersection to get over to 35R. Taxied some down that runway, and hey presto!, to my right a ramp with 2 F-16s and a L-39. Took a picture of those, and turned back towards 35R. Then I spotted a Su-30 taxiing S on the runway, took a pic of that also.

Continued up 35R, saw some F-16s on the W side of the field and ran over there to have a look.

Back towards the E side and 35R, where I saw, towards the northern end of 35R, a runway (that shouldn't be there) apparently diverging off 35R and running NNW beyond the ends of both 35L and 35R. So I took a picture of that too.

This "diverging runway" does not show in ADE, just like the duplicated one I have mentioned before. Very odd that Tim's AFCAD has the same issue...

The screenshots are included for your viewing pleasure.

Very mystified -

The Su-30 pic didn't make it, hopefully this time.

Another look, this time i am on 35R heaging N, I have just passed the ramp to the E of 35R, where the F-16s are, and am approaching the ramp where the Su-30s nest.

You see here the "diverging runway", just where the Su-30 stands. Apparently this odd runway starts somewhere to the E of the S end of 35R, crosses 35R at an angle and continues up to the north, getting close to the N end of 35L but not crossing this.

If necessary I can try and make more pictures of this.

My best guess is that you have more than one version of WARI installed - it's worth doing a search within your scenery directories to find out. Certainly this isn't an issue in my P3Dv5.4, where my airfield works perfectly well. It would be interesting to see if anyone else has this (or any) issue with it. I haven't yet tried this version in P3Dv6 (that computer is in my music studio in the garden, and I don't often add my v5 work to it) but I will have a look tomorrow if anyone's interested!

To best educate the detective process, a view from the air that showed all of the ground infrastructure would be helpful. Use a view that doesn't show the vehicle you're using so you have an unobstructed view of the ground.

I've previously had scenery installed here using the code WIAR or with the 2nd runway having its own code WIA1. Maybe have a look for those?

I mean, look to see whether they are lurking in the background.

I believe we're cooking with gas now.

I had been down the route of checking for duplicates lurking around somewhere, but just to make sure, I did it again.

Simple enough, all my ORBX add-ons are on one seperate drive, and all my other add-on scenery is on another seperate drive. So, search first one of those for WIAR and WARI, and then the other - only Tim's set of WARI files found, and where they should be. I checked the ORBX files just to make sure nothing was included in their Global Airports Pack.

But it was Jim's hint about WIA1 that hit the nail on the head with a sledgehammer. There indeed was a (expletive deleted) file lurking amongst the other add-on scenery, with this file name:

MAIW_AFX_WIA1_P3D.bgl

Move that to a "safe" place out of reach of P3D, and now things look as they should, with F-16s and Su-30s taxiing merrily around.

So maybe Tim could put in his readme to make sure no WIAR and WIA1 files laying around when instaling his scenery?

A big thanks to Tim for his scenery, to Weescotty for his F-16s, and to Jim for the WIA1 tip (without which I would have much less hair now)!

Haha! I wasn't intending to be doing a ReadMe for this - it was a quick and dirty project to help WeeScotty out with getting a working airfield for his F-16 development. Now I know it's working adequately I'll leave it as-is and if anyone wants to take it and develop it further, they're welcome to do so. This part of the world holds little interest for me other than perhaps a historical look at Singapore pre-independence. Or even as it is now - all five main airfields built for the RAF/RN are still active: Changi, Payar Lebar, Seletar, Sembawang and Tengah/Murai, and over the years I've been to most of them!

Edit: WARI Ad4 file attached (again... oops!)
