MCAI Tu-16/H-6

Post by shaggy22 »

Yet another new model from the hangar of Mason Curling, the Tupolev Tu-16 Badger & Xi'an H-6 series of aircraft. As usual a full set of aircraft & loadouts will be included & they'll be used with pbr textures as well. We've also done the Tu-16LL aircraft as well carrying various engines & an L-39 as well as a Yak-38. In terms of textures that will be included, the entire Egyptian Air Force & Russian Tu-16LL fleets will be included along with a couple of test repaints for everything else. There are more than 500 serials on record for the Xi'an H-6s so if someone fancies doing that little lot they are more than welcome.

A few small things to sort out but hopefully release should not be too far away.

This is awesome! Thanks a lot. Mike P. was talking about the Badger, but it never surfaced.
Cheers,
Martin

Ray is absolutely right, a much needed model. Now I can retire several place-holders...

Good news. I actually use the old AI version of the Alpha Simulation H-6, but it's an old model.

You would have to try to convert it back to FSX format using MCX... In its current state this is a V4.4+ model with PBR...

Thanks for this.

I have searched for flight plans for the current air frames in use unsuccessfully.

Any pointers would be most appreciated.

Looking good! Also if you are wanting some more topics to work on and know how to make paint kits from scratch / basic mapping, PM me, I have plenty of additional models in the works... and I know Dan and Miljan would be happy to share the workload as there is a bit of a backlog in that department...
