We really should pool our resources for Edwards AFB. It's long overdue and probably not something MAIW is ever going to get around to doing.

I've got some beta scenery that John Stinstrom did a while ago that if he's ok with it, I could contribute. Plus we've got the paints and lots of flight plans for aircraft based there.

We'd need a really detailed AFD file which I'm sure someone out there has and hopefully would be willing to share.

Any takers? I'll check with John on the scenery.

I agree, we could put everything together into one. Compile the paints and flightplans and piece this one together.

At this moment I am working on texturing of buildings,82 models done from 167 models.
Afcad si 75% done,but i have problem to compile it,now I am testing afcad which is divided to 3 parts

To MIKE JG :is there limit for upload (size of the files and extensions,I not able to upload ADE project,ad3 extension)

There is, I forget what it is off the top of my head but if you can email it to me or link it to free download site, we could do it that way.

We could host it on our server and link it so it stays in house if you want.

I would add that Mark Heimer has done many of the repaints for USAF Edwards AFB based aircraft. There are Edwards flight plans on his site as well.

I have started putting all the aircraft into a folder, i'd like to make it this a package that can be downloaded as a whole instead of looking around for all the different flight plans etc...I think we are still missing some of the flight plans tho. So, would anyone be interested in covering all of Edwards with flight plans?

I will be out of town after tomorrow for a funeral but I have started putting this one together.

It is BETA version (work in progres ),all building without textures,afcad needs some small corrections,same is with buildings.

I have to say that it is impressive.

I know that it is a way off yet but I will be intrigued to see how you do the landclass/texture under the base and see how that combines with the dry lake area.

Remarkable effort so far should be wonderful once completed.

Just installed it.

Looks really good!!! (Imagine with all the colours on the buildings!!)

Also impressed that it is all level and looking good since I remember having troubles here with other scenery long time ago!
