Here is a link to a Nick Needham thread that contains invaluable tips for those of us who still use rotary/spinning hard drives. Although many are installed SSDs in their "Tower" or Desktop PCs, most laptops are equipped with traditional rotary/spinning hard drives. If your PC or laptop has a rotary HDD, then Nick Needham's advice applies...
