Blue Angels going to Rhinos

Looks like Boeing won a contract to start engineering work to convert Rhinos to Blue Angels performance planes.

Bout time! Makes me wonder about the cause of the accident in Tennessee. If it was an aircraft issue, did this spur the decision to finally get them newer aircraft??
