German Government may receive 2x A321 neo

The German Government may receive two new A321 neo which wont be delivered to Lufthansa due to the Corona crises.

These two A321 neo could be used as troops transporters and as flying hospitals.

There is nothing confirmed or signed yet.

Today it was confirmed in the media that the Airforce will receive two A321 neo which originally were built for Lufthansa.
The government will pay 297 mio. Euros including reconfiguration of the cabin.

The German Air Force has received the first of two new A321neo in Berlin.
Only the MedEvac platform needs to be installed.
The new aircraft will be put in service very soon.
