Hi All

I was using FSX and ADE linked. FSX crashed and now FSX doesn't respond to controls. I've tried calibrating using the FSX config tool and using FSUIPC. But FSX will not respond.

I think I may have to edit the FSX ini file.

Any ideas how to fix this [lease?

I am guessing that the first thing to check is that FSX sees the devices. If the crash was bad enough FSX could have rebuilt the cfg file which would mean that it simply doesn't know about the controls any more.
Is this the case?

I've checled the cfg file and the controls show default. I gues your right so I can back up the current one, delete the original so FSX can build a new one.

It sounds like it already has done that. You just need to set up your controls again.

I admit that this doesn't help you but it is the main reason that I always keep a back of the cfg for FS9. I am just too lazy to set it all back up again if there is a problem.

Hi Steve I deleted the original .cfg and rebuilt it. I deleted the game controllers entry. Then plugged them back in using USB 3.0 ports, they were added to the device manager. Rebooted and the cfg now shows this which works. Made a back up just in case
