Download section alive again

Post by Manschy »

Just want to let you know, the download section is alive again :smt001

I thought it needs a more noticeable notification, because we all were waiting for so long.
Thanks to all involved making this possible again :smt001

A big thank you to everyone involved with getting the library up and running again. It's great to have it back

No pressure, but is it possible to say, roughly, how long it will take before we can upload work again please?

With the first part of the Brazil package being assembled and documented at the moment, we just want to weigh up the options for how we might release it.

The "File Upload" menu item should be available again in the top menu.

Let me know if you encounter any issues.

I have checked and do see an upload form, Greg. So It might be group permissions.

I can see it Greg. I can open the input screen and I can navigate from there to where I need to on my PC in order to upload. Would you like me to try a test upload?

Greg,

Closer. I can go through the process, but compatibility is only listed as MSFS 2020 and I can't change to P3Dv4 which it was I paint for. if I leave MSFS 2020 it tries to upload then fails since "No compatibility" was selected.

Okay. The custom fields system has completely changed in this version, as you can probably tell from the ugly form layout.

But I think the compatibility field should work now.

Greg,

I just uploaded the file. Seems to work fine on the user end.

Greg, a bent nickel's (or a bent 5 Euro-cent's) worth: it seems to me a bit contradictory that one finds the Upload item when one clicks on the down arrow beside Download....

Thanks Jon. I can see it indeed in our lists and will have a look in the coming days.

Thanks for the feedback. I don't like that arrow either, but the current layout is just temporary. The primary focus was on getting everything working.
