M-28 Bryza for P3D?

Post by grzegorz »

A warm welcome to all,

Is there perhaps an M-28 Breeze conversion available that works under P3D v4? The An 28 model from Mike Cronin is from what I remember only under fs2004 (https://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?D ... CatID=root)

Best regards

Hi,
Mike has given me permission to convert his models.

If it hasn't been done then I could look into it.

Won't be quick as it is summer and I have zero free time.

Stay tuned.

I looked up and converted this one really quickly... Only took me 5 minutes since it was such a basic model... Martin has it..

Thank you very much.
By the way, if I may have a question. Do any of you have a painting in the colors of the Polish Air Force - as far as I know M 28 are stationed in Krakow (EPKK) and Powidz (EPPW). On avsim there is only the paint scheme for the navy available (you can find it by typing "Bryza" in the search engine). Once upon a time when I was still using FSX I had paintings for M 28 in air force colors, but after my disk crashed I can't find it and I don't remember where I got them from.

If anyone had such a painting then please share.

Greetings
Grzegorz

Do we have some paints for this aircraft that we might add to the package?
Cheers,
Martin

I just installed this model into P3D v5.4, the model itself shows correct but there is no landing gear. Any ideas what could be wrong?

Edit: I looked again, and it looks like the landing gear is there, but the planes have no tires.
Edit #2: When I am farther away from the planes the wheels show, but when I move closer to the plane the wheels disappear.

Hi Joseph.

Now I know what was confusing me. I have not yet uploaded the conversion pack. So which model did you install?
Cheers,
Martin

I see

This download is listed as a repaint, and I would assume that the model should not have been included there. The model is MDL8 for FS2002, so you have a great result with only the wheels missing in P3D :smt002

Please wait for the weekend or very shortly after. Then I will release the official conversion pack.
Cheers,
Martin

Martin, I will be looking forward to that too. I tried to convert the MDL8 on my own, using MCX v. 1.7, but the converted model would not recognize .dds textures. With the .bmp textures it looks great, including the wheels...

To quote Madeleine Kahn in "Young Frankenstein": "Woof!".

But Martin, when the descriptions of such packages are written, can it be put in there if the package contains flight plans or not? For example, this package had a flight plan, but the Skywarrior did not...

And if flight plans are not included, but available somewhere, can it be put in the description where the plans can be found?

Hope you're over your bout with covid -

Thank you very much.
By the way, could I ask you to paint in the colors of the Polish border guards? There is one Bryza on the equipment of this formation - admittedly, it is a slightly different version of the aircraft, but one likes what one has 😉
