WoAI packages w/o the installer

Post by Jorgen »

Some time ago, I found the military World of AI packages on here, without the WoAI installer, so that I could install them in my P3D-only installation.

Does anyone know if the civilian packages also are available somewhere without being packaged with the installer? I am specifically thinking of the UGA packages.

Thankis for any hints and pointers -

I should add that some of these are available on AVSIM, for example the Gulfstream III and IV, the Bombardier 5000 and Global Express, the Beech F90 and some others. But for example the Beech 400 are not available there without the installer.

Jorgen, I have uploaded the installer to the Tools section here in the download center.

Thanks for that, Martin!

Now, can one find a how-to for those "fake registry keys" that are needed for a P3D-only installation somewhere?

I seem to have misremembered this, Jorgen. You need to click the checkbox "Extract files for manual installation", then off you go...

Martin

If I remember correct (which is not always the case), that will also only work if you have FS9 or FSX installed.

It has been a while (years) since I tried this last, but I believe that I always (with FSX) installed WoAI that way, because I keep my AI aircraft in a seperate folder. I will check it out later and report back here.

Damn, where has this installer been all my life?

Yep, this one works differently from the WoAI Installer I used to have.

Thanks, Martin - I hope you can cope with the piled-up workload here...
