Simple graphics tip
Last night, on my laptop, I came across a YouTube video. The creator said it would reduce "micro-stutters" by forcing Windows to use only your high-performance graphics adapter for your flight simulator, instead of allowing Windows to also use the Intel UHD graphics adapter that is onboard on most Intel CPUs. He himself uses MSFS, DCS and X-Plane, but said this should work on all flight simulators.
The video can be found here:
So today I have checked this out on my P3D v. 5.4, and it actually works very well indeed. For me, this is a keeper!
There is, of course, no guarantee it will work on your system, but I think it's worth a shot.

Re: Simple graphics tip
This is a awesome tip! I tried it with P3D v5.4 and now my sim is super smooth, and I got a boost in frame rates. It's like I got new hardware for my computer.

Good to hear, Joseph.
I've had similar feedback from a couple of guys on AIG, so this is definitely worth trying.

Re: Simple graphics tip
Hi,
I also was impressed; one issue is the sound has become very low on everything.
I have read on PMDG that this can happen, something to do with drivers. In the FMC all is 100% and it is showing the RealTech speakers, whereas the graphics card is Nvidia.
Will do some experiments and report back.

Hi,
Returned to the before setting and the sound came back.
Would like to go back, would appreciate any advice to remove this problem.
Regards

Re: Simple graphics tip
Do you use the sound outlet from your graphics card?
If so, do you have an alternate outlet, like I use the sound line out from my motherboard, and that is not affected.
