Screenshot of the AIG (Alpha India Group) AI 757-200 in NASA colours at Langley AFB.
Used in place of the older AI Aardvark model.

Hi James,
The repaint is not by me. ray parker did for me as i had replaced all my AA Aardvark 757's with AIG 757's.
I am sure he will put it on avsim.

Perhaps I'm missing something here, but I don't get why you're asking permission to release a repaint.
If you used the released paintkit, and the repaint is 100% your work, and you don't include any models, then you don't need their written permission to upload it, afaik.

That aside, nice paints! As tubeliners go, the 757 has to be about my fave.

i wanted to ask permission with the hope of including the model,flight plans etc. and its easier for people that dont know how to cut n paste and renumber the cfg. BTW your an124 rocks

I know that when they came out the AIG one had xml flaps and slats on take off and reverse thrusters, but when the SD upgrade came out I think that all these features were matched by Aardvark.

I remember that there was quite a discussion at the time and this was condensed in this thread http://militaryaiworks.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3584.

In general you can say that the AIG model looks better than the Aardvark one.

Not to criticize the Aardvark one, but the AIG is newer and (I believe) therefore better.
