MAIW aircraft with working tail hooks and folding wings?

Hello MAIW world,

I've been digging through every single MAIW package I have that could possibly have a Naval aircraft with a tail hook and folding wings. I know that Nick Black modeled a Finnish Hornet with folding wings, and the Tomcats are obvious with their wings but, are there any others that I'm just not seeing? I have noticed that the models all pretty much say "dry" but, are there "wet" ones out there I missed? Do the wet models come with all that extra goodness? I only ask because, I'm experimenting with making a carrier scene with some flight ops for myself so that I can have a little carrier fun. If not, I'm not complaining. The deck is pretty well packed with the great models you guys have shared with us. Thanks!

The only WET model we have released is the FAF Rafale, which has carrier ops as part of the package.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, that's why I asked if I missed something, seeing those are wet and most if not all the others are dry. I'll just sit back wait and be patient, lot's of different things have been popping up lately. You never know what could come out of the factories here.

At present, I am also experimenting with aircraft carriers so that I can have a little carrier fun myself.
I, too, was wondering about AI with working tail-hooks and folding wings, and thanks to you I now have the answer.
Although MAIW provide a marvelous fleet of AI planes to pick from, the list is still finite and limited.
The one thing I have learned from Nick Black and the MAIW forums is that AI aircraft must have a LOW polygon count.
We can't expect MAIW to create models for every military plane in existence or that ever existed...
But there is a vast library of LOW poly models - albeit without tail-hooks or folding wings - that I discovered accidentally:
Many FS98 military aircraft can be used as AI in FS2004.... I can vouch for that.

Anybody who's looking for LOW poly models to use as AI and can't find them in any MAIW package, can browse through FS98 aircraft libraries.
Don't take my word for it....try it and see!!
