I've been running into a problem that hopefully someone else has experience with.
I'm using FSX and AFX to do some basic scenery stuff. The problem is that exclusion rectangles made in AFX only sometimes work - and sometimes when some are working, others are not.
Anyone heard of a solution to this?
BTW, my OS is Vista.. I have a vague recollection of someone somewhere saying they had seen this problem - with AFX and Vista.
AFX, FSX and Vista question

Thanks for the replies.
I haven't downloaded the totally unofficial "invisible object mod" (http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_p ... ?TID=22390) from the Simforums.com site as this seemed to be an unsatisfactory work around - why stick "objects" into a scenery where you might be forced to turn off crash detection due to the objects location? It doesn't seem (to me, at least) that "straight" (officially upgraded to v1.4, not unofficially modded) AFX does use invisible objects as **somethimes** the exclusion rectangles worked exactly as expected, sometimes not.
ADE and FSX Planner have their own issues from what I can tell - at least on my system. Both work less smoothly and crash more often on my system.
I guess I'll have to buckle down and learn SbuilderX or something.
Thanks again.
