I use AI Flight Planner almost exclusively to compile my traffic .bgl files. I do not think I have added a new traffic file to my FS2004 computer or my FSX computer compiled by TTools in at least two or three years.

When writing AI flight plans I'll use various tools, but mostly I work in text files with a reference to the Great Circle Mapper web site. It is a neat tool where I can enter airports and aircraft speed to check distances, course direction for cruise altitudes, etc.

Though I am finding myself using AI Flight Planner more and more to create small flight plans. It has many really good features which help keep common errors out of flightplans.
