6 Squadron Stands Up

Post by Stewart Pearson »

6 Squadron (Bae Typhoon) officially stood-up yesterday at RAF Leuchars (EGQL).

For those attending, the public will get their first "official" view of the newbies at this Saturdays Battle of Britain Airshow at the Fife base.

111 Squadron will stand down their Tornado F3s in March 2011.

You may need to register Nick (unless you already have) but there are some on the Fighter Control forum whilst they were still at Coningsby

Those colours really are glaring. It seems that they are still living up to their old nickname - sh*tty six.
