6 Squadron (Bae Typhoon) officially stood-up yesterday at RAF Leuchars (EGQL).
For those attending, the public will get their first "official" view of the newbies at this Saturdays Battle of Britain Airshow at the Fife base.
111 Squadron will stand down their Tornado F3s in March 2011.

Following the airshow at Leuchars, 6 Squadron returned to RAF Coningsby for a while. They did however, take up residence at their new home at Leuchars this afternoon.
