well aerogator has a EA-6B in the works.............
Unfortunately the EA6B is in the rough and raw stage still . Maybe I can get back to it eventually. It is a cool a/c...but very complex . The P-3 is much closer.
Prior to the split in the 90's each Det X,Y, and Z each had 6 birds. Usual rotaion was 6 mos in iwakuni, 6 mos at home (Cherry Point), And 6 mos of tours, IE Norway Red Flag Yuma and many others. Also the home DET did alot of Airshows During the season. After the split it all basically worked ther same just under new Colors. Now VMAQ-4 was a res. squadron, they got thrown in there in various roles. As far as the NAVY, I believe they tend to run the same sort of routine. These things I say are very basic but will go with the AI theme. As far as war time opps, they like to keep more than one set around the area. Remember these are very important airframes these days and usually aren't "Alone" in the area. I did have an AI Cherry Point at one time I did with prowlers,a-6's, and skariers. But when I switched to vista I lost my back ups. I am thinking about doing another one but dont know too much about the new FSX system. I have SDK's but have had no luck.
There are typically 4 EA-6B aircraft to a squadron. My squadron, VAQ-142, has five probably because the Wing doesn't think we have enough on our daily work load reports, as it is...
