Now just how........................
......................do you create this taxiway edge with ADE?
Anyone come across this before and managed to solve it?

Like this:

You won't have the yellow markings but it's the best you can do with AFCAD or ADE.
Also if you use this method, don't forget to put an extra blue node immediately after the hold short node like I did in the screenshot. If not your traffic may be sent onto the taxiway shoulders after passing the hold short node.

Stew, the bit about the nodes is critical as we learned the hard way. When the AI reaches the hold short node upon exiting the runway, it will look for the closest blue taxi node and it will try to join that taxi network. If that network is not associated with the AFD taxi route, and is for scenery purposes only, the AI will disappear since it would not be possible for it to reach one of the parking spots.

Gotcha Mike, seem to recall you suggesting putting a blue node on either side of the hold short, so I'll do that. My original request was more reagrding the yellow hash marks, however, thanks both for the reminder.MIKE JG wrote:Stew, the bit about the nodes is critical as we learned the hard way. Re: Now just how........................
You "could" choose one of the taxiway/apron textures that no one uses, ice or brick for example and modify the texture so that it looks like the fillet with cross hatches that you are trying to create. It wouldn't be that hard to do.
If you wanted it to look that way on another setup, that person would also have to replace their default texture/s with your new one.
So it is possible, but it would require sacrificing at least one default texture.
Might be worth looking into.

I'm like Mike, lacking in the patience department. I thank you both for the suggestions which have helped me make a decision..............................there shall be no silly yellow lines on the edges.

Not my work mind you, it's from the AF2 file from the Abu Dhabi scenery by Matthew Ministry et al.

I still might try adding lines to one of the dis-used textures to see if that would work. Not sure how the line would line up though.
