If that is the error you are getting, that explains the problem. You somehow made a transcription error when setting up the aircraft.cfg file.

The first entry in the download is:

[fltsim.x]
title=MKAI_EC225 JGSDF 01021
sim=MKAI_EC225_Super_Puma_AI_ONLY
model=EC225_JDA
texture=JGSDF 01021
atc_airline=PUMA
atc_parking_types=
atc_parking_codes=STH
prop_anim_ratio=-1.40
ui_manufacturer=MKAI
ui_type=EC225 Super Puma
ui_variation=
description=MKAI Eurocopter EC225 Super Puma - FOR AI USE ONLY

Add the _JDA back and you should be good to go.

Double check the MKAI_ECC25 folder and make sure the model folder with that name is present

OK for them to show up you need to have done the following :-
1. Downloaded Miljans AI Airbus Helicopters H225 (Eurocopter EC225) Super Puma (LP) (MKAI) package.
2. You have placed the MKAI_EC225_SuperPuma folder in your aircraft folder and inside that you have a the model.ec225_JDA folder.
3. You have downloaded Brents Repaint Airbus Helicopters H225 (Eurocopter EC225) Super Puma - JGSDF (MKAI) package.
4. You have placed the 3 schemes from that package into the MKAI_EC225_SuperPuma folder and added the contents of the fltsim[x].txt file to the aircraft.cfg and made sure that the fltsim entries have been renumbered correctly.
5. You have copied the Traffic_JGSDF EC225.bgl file into your \scenery\world\scenery folder.
6. You have resized the JDA models to size 9m in AIAE.

Please confirm that you have done all that.

When and only IF you have done that confirm that you have installed Brents Kisarazu scenery with CH-47s package because if you haven't then you probably don't have an afcad that will allow AI aircraft to show up.

Robs problem was the same as he had with Kasuminome.

Sigh...

The answer was right there all along.

[fltsim.0] model=EC225 does not exist

Always trust your diagnostics, they don't lie.

So, I went back and checked the aircraft.cfg file that comes with the EC225.... and:

[fltsim.0]
title=MKAI_EC225
sim=MKAI_EC225_Super_Puma_AI_ONLY
model=EC225
texture=
atc_airline=
atc_parking_types=
atc_parking_codes=
prop_anim_ratio=-1.40
ui_manufacturer=MKAI
ui_type=EC225 Super Puma
ui_variation=
description=MKAI Eurocopter EC225 Super Puma - FOR AI USE ONLY

Would you look at that. Shocking... The diagnostic program nailed it on the first try.

So, go ahead and delete that entry since it's just a template for the repainters to use in building their own... and you've been provided with the correct ones. Double check the numbering, and carry on.

I suspect he knows it's there. It's so that painters can use it as a template for their own [fltsim.x] entries but just adding the model suffix and other pertinent information.

He did after all release 19 models. No one would expect for him to write a full [flitsim.x] entry for each, especially since no paints existed.

Andy,
Glad that you have finally got your issues sorted out.

As I said before there is no discussion about Japanese Bases. You either will or won't get future ones. Your preference has already been noted.

Andy. Let it lie.
You do not tell developers what to do. The staff here do not tell them what to do. That is the end of it.

If you have not done so feel free to read my previous post.

Heads-up: I'm going to split the helpdesk-for-Andy-part from this topic and move it to its own thread in the tech help forum, since Andy's issues were not directly related to Brent's Japanese packages.

So, for obvious reasons, I'm holding off on the VMFA-121 release.

In the mean time, some new special tails have come to my attention for the 60th anniversary of Chitose Air Base:
