RAF Waddington 26th Oct 2020
Decided to do a days spotting at RAF Waddington just because I'm missing a few aircraft from my collection, the weather was rather changeable throughout the day sadly but it was a lot busier than I thought it would be, including a foreign visitor with a French Air Force Xingu

Nice find on the Shadow.
Has anybody painted up ZZ507, and also ZZ506 for JYs model?

I dont think ZZ506 has been put in a new livery yet, i think it is all white with a civy serial G-GMAD, it used to be in a nice Black, white and Red scheme, not sure if it still operates under Gama Avaition either.
ZZ417 ZZ419 ZZ507 all in new scheme
Much thanks
Mark

Interesting. I didn't realise that they were all getting the new livery. Looking forward to those schemes being released.

Those are some nice shots.
Has anyone ever made flightplans for the JYAI RAF Sentinel R1? And Tranquil, can you send me those RAF Shadow paints? If yes I will PM you my email address.

Re: RAF Waddington 26th Oct 2020
Hello,
I have installed the RAF Waddington of John Young which is avalible for FS9 at Justflight.
The scenery looks very nice and has lots of details.
I also have installed the Airseeker and it works fine so far.
My question is now, where i can get the RAF Awacs with CFM engines.
Also i would like to ask if there is an update for the scenery for FS9.
If i am not wrong i found a thread about a 2019 update.
Thank you for your help.
P.S. where can i get the callsign "HAWG" for the Airseeker and the aircraft type for editvoicepack?

Re: RAF Waddington 26th Oct 2020
The RAF Sentry models have been around for 15 years.
If you search on Avsim for 'UK Military Ai Project' you will find a package and an update.
Please note that ukmilai is not linked in anyway with ukmil.

Re: RAF Waddington 26th Oct 2020
Hello Firebird,
Thank you for the hint.
I was looking for almost 30 min and tried to find the model with google, but found nothing.
I have installed the E-3D and they work so far.
Currently i am checking the FP because one reg of the second delivered E-3D doesnt appear.
I have downloaded also the Saudi Arabian Awacs and the french E-3F.
But i could not find any FP for the french Awacs.
I red that the Bombardier Sentinels are not flying in Waddington anymore, so that only the Airseeker and the E-3D are based in the scenery.
Can you tell me what units/aircrafts else are based there beside of the Kingair?
Thank you for your support.
P.S.
When i asked about update 2019, i ment update for the scenery.
Thank you for the hint.

Re: RAF Waddington 26th Oct 2020
OK firstly I should point out that you are posting in a thread about Aviation Photography. You should not tag onto a thread that is not related.
On the E-3 flightplans front, did you try the Owl's Nest?
I went there typed in E-3 and found a link to some plans in 2 seconds.
On the scenery front you mentioned that you had got the JustFlight scenery for Waddington. Yes it was done by JY but it was produced for UKMil not us.
I checked in the Download Hangar and we do not have any Waddington scenery in there. I am guessing because it is a UKMil package. I did a search in the forums for 'Waddington update' and found nothing so I don't think you saw it here. If there was an update why not ask them? Finally, JY spends quite a bit of time here and if there was an update I would think that he would say something.
On the units. If you are talking about current units then a simple look at either the RAF website or even the Wikipedia page for RAF Waddington should give you everything you want to know.

Re: RAF Waddington 26th Oct 2020
Mt FS9 scenery of RAF Waddington was made back in 2008 when I was part of UKMIL and before I made the move to making AI aircraft.
This is the link to the package at flightim.com:

I don't think I have ever updated the scenery and won't be doing so.
