MAIW FSX packages

Post by pietsteens »

Just installed your FSX KC-135 with Boeing field scenery and installed everything like it should.
However, I see the scenery, but not any plane. What might be the problem ?
Mu OS is Windows 7, 64 bit.

I am using WOAI packages as well, could that conflict with MAIW packages or traffic files ?
Thanks for your help

The simple things to check are that the traffic percentage slider is up high enough. Try it at 100% if it is not there already.
Also check there are parking spaces available that are big enough to take the KC-135s.

There are two other things to check. Firstly, if you have any FS9 traffic files for that area then no FSX traffic will appear. Secondly, are you sure that any KC-135s actually go to KBFI in the flightplans.

Hi Steve , thanks for replying.
Even with 100% sliders out, no planes.
I only have WOAI traffic in the neighbourhood (Seatlle) but according to WOAI this
is also for FSX

So what traffic do you have installed that you think sends its KC-135s to KBFI?

Same goes forJYAI B36 FSX and JYAI B47 FSX packages.
The scenery works fine, but I can't see any traffic nor planes.

Remove the WOAI traffic file and you will have the MAIW traffic. Just because it says also for FSX doesn't mean it was compiled for FSX. The WOAI FSX traffic files still have to be recompiled for FSX.

Thanks Joe, but before I do that, as there are over 50 or so and they are working fine in FSX as I have WOAI traffic in a lot of airports,
it is a matter of conflicting then ?
Moreoever how do I recompile these traffic files for FSX ?
