Re: Warbirds
Think you'll find plenty of interest Matt.
You'll find that the Mustang and Thunderbolt have already been done as AI.
Repaints etc here;

That'll save a bit of time!

I have seen those. Plus I have seen the B-29, B-25, B-17, Hispano Buchon (Spanish? BF-109), DC-3s, etc.. Was thinking maybe a B-24, Corsair, or P-38, unless you guys want something else.
Re: Warbirds
In my opinion, any aircraft that has not been done is more than welcome.
See http://www.owlsnest.eu/poll.php for some "inspiration".

Re: Warbirds
If I had a preference, then my personal wish might not be everyone's immediate favourite but I think it might grow on them. I would like to see every version of Spitfire/Seafire.
JY's models are great but there are so many others that could lead to all sorts of paint jobs from all over the world.
It's probably a good job that I don't have a vote.
Of course keeping it a lot simpler, I would love to have some Mossies.

Re: Warbirds
Those are definitely some great ideas. Will see what I have for three views and start working. Will post progress in AI Aircraft Design forum on this site as I go. Please keep throwing out ideas though.

Hmmmm...I do like the P-38 and the Corsair. I know I have some decent info for both of them.

Re: Warbirds
+1 here on these 2. I do have the ED Aviation F4U, but the thread we had on the subject suggested using CFS2 models that were low poly enough for AI use.Flightlead13 wrote:I agree...the Corsair and P-38 would be great additions!
I'm into naval stuff, so anything USN or IJN from WWII would be great.
Last request: P-40!!!

Re: Warbirds
True, I use the F-4U from CFS2 but there is no need to have it. You can find at least 12 repaint with the complete aircraft on Flightsim. Search for Evan G. Butterbrodt. Nine LODs from 5327 to 0 polygons.Victory103 wrote:+1 here on these 2. Re: Warbirds
Korean warbirds... there's already an F86; how about a Meteor to go with it, or a MiG-15? The MiG would nicely complement Mike Pearson's recent Russian marvels ..and, staying with the Korean theme, maybe a Tigercat; that would be wonderful..

Re: Warbirds
Quick Shot of the first model to be started. Is only a rough start. Can you guess what it is? Will start a couple more within the next couple of days so I can take a break from this one when I get frustrated. I have found that particular aircraft is kind of a pain in the a** to model but I will stick with it.
