Re: Exercise Combined Strength Kinloss

Now I like this alot Jim! The Typhoons are here for AMRAAM firing, well they don't seem to be firing them and only 98+03 is ever being armed as yet, when it is being livened up, 98+03 is parked in the woods over the other side.. They are using the callsign spark incase you want that for a VCPMOD. On...

That's a rather gorgeous find, those F-7s! I do like the lush F16 CFT.. only seen one..

Re: Raptors & Reapers

Ha ha really??? I use just 20D. I thought I HAD to be the only one on Earth still using it. Makes me feel better knowing I'm not alone. I've mostly been using my 70-200 2.8 but have also used the 75-300 USM. 75-300 USM killed me with chromatic abberation on cloudy days though. I liked the focal len...

RAF Leuchars Air Show 2009..

What a superb day out Leuchars was, in my tee shirt all day. Shame about the static having fences nearly touching the aircraft but oh well. Nice to meet Martin (Needham), Derek (DerekH), Andy (AndyXH558) and his wife, was nice to see Mark (Lossie15), Al (Swingy) and my Uncle briefly.. The first surp...

I believe that the H's are all grounded and that only 2x J-30s have been delivered so far. Could be wrong about the number in service, though.
H's have been stored at Davis Monthan AFB I have been told.
