Re: AI Aircraft Editor Version 4.2.1 released
I downloaded the newest version, and I noticed one problem. I do alot of editing my AI, and update the textures as I go along. With this version, I noticed that you can select multiple fltsim.x entries, but when you right click to delete the ones you've selected, no menu comes up. At first, I checke...

Once again John, you have outdone yourself, brings me home to my old CVW-2 seeing VA-145 and VA-155 again. Will love seeing the Swordsman and the Silver Foxes flying again

Re: Thoughts on the next project
As an add-on. VA-155 wasn't around for very long, I think about 7 years from starting up to getting shutdown. They joined our airwing after the 1989 cruise, which they took the place of VMA-121, as 121 was switching from A-6's to F/A-18's (they are now F-35B's in Japan). CVW-2 had the distinction of...

Re: Thoughts on the next project
Here's a link that a guys in Japan has put together over the years with occasionally will have bureau numbers on airplanes on different cruises. This link here was the last cruise for the USS Ranger in 1992, and the last one for VA-155 as well. My squadron (VF-1) was decommissioned as well. http://w...

Re: Thoughts on the next project
Very cool John, was wondering about the A-6 since I saw and downloaded the EA-6 this morning. I did 4 cruises in Air Wing 2 in the 80's and 90's, and had VA-145 in all of them, and VA-155 in the Desert Storm cruise

I live about 3 miles from the Avra Valley airport, although it's now offically called Marana Northwest Regional Airport. But, like you, I still call it Avra Valley!!!

Re: Arizona Overhaul
I had been thinking for a long time about making an AFCAD for Silverbell AHP, which folks around her call Evergreen, since it's attached to the airport that Evergreen works on bagging up airlines, and occasionally builds a couple back up and flies out. So nice to see someone beat me to the punch

Re: C-130 Crashes in North Mississippi
I just read the latest on this, and it says all 16 onboard have died. Seems the plane suffered a structural failure at around 20,000. Fair winds and following seas to all those Marines :( I remember how sad it felt when one of the first MV-22 crashed near my home in Arizona, killing 20 Marines. The ...

Re: AI S-3B Viking
Ohhhhh, how I would love to see my beloved Viking flying in FS again. I worked on her from 1985-1988 with VS-41 at North Island. I was a jet engine mechanic, and my wife was an electrican. It's where we met

Re: AI Aircraft Editor.NET Initial Release
I also tried shorting the name on the main folder too, just to see if this might be a character limitation, and this didn't seem to matter either.
I will continue to see what I can find, maybe we can figure something out

Re: AI Aircraft Editor.NET Initial Release
Steve, when I click on the textures tab, and select those that aren't working, yes, they show up fine. As a side note, if I go to the Model Viewer tab, and select the texture in Livery box in the upper right hand side, I can select it from there. Martin, 1. No, there is not an entry in the dropdown ...

Here you go Martin. In the first shot, you see the Malaysian texture is selected, and the Malaysian shows in the Texture box. in the second shot, I have the Malaysian OneWorld texture selected, but the OneWorld texture doesn't show in the Texture box. I also included the left side of the app where i...

Re: AI Aircraft Editor.NET Initial Release
What a great tool Martin, I downloaded it last night and have been cleaning up the messes with my AI. I do have one question though. I noticed on a couple of my AI, some of the texture folders are not showing up in the Texture box under the General tab. Example... I have a special paint under the Ma...

Re: RPP_FPGen SUPPORT THREAD
The only problem I've had with it was with cargo flights. They seem to not like the Pacific side of things. But, when making fighter, attack and helo flightplans, it works very well. I still have to massage the flight plans a bit, but still, it works well in that aspect.
