Re: JYAI C-130J Specials

Giorgio,
As I have the packages, if you pm me your aircraft, airports and flightplan txt files and I will see what I can discover.

It is suspicious that it seems only to be problems with the stretched birds.

Re: JYAI C-130J Specials

Giorgio, I rechecked the Spanish pack again and the KC birds were fine in the package. The only texture issue was the H-30. So try adding the KC textures again from the pack and see. On the Indian ones no errors were found in either the plain pack install or my install. The only thing I can think of...

Re: JYAI C-130J Specials

I checked another package, the Indiians, and put in the textures unchanged, added the cfg entries unchanged and added the traffic file unchanged. AIFP showed up no errors and neither did ACA2017. Is it a parking spot issue on your afcad? The Spanish C-130H-30 I just loaded in DXTBmp and saved it as ...

Re: JYAI C-130J Specials

I wasn't going to reply, as I tend to pull packages apart to make them fit my personal; system, but I do remember one thing. Some of the C-130s had the wrong air file named in the cfg file.

*update*
A quick check revealed that the Swedish ones has that problem at least.

Thanks for the offer, Pete but I am still in the Stone Age. Will decide which sim to go forward with once FS2020 comes out.

Re: Has anybody done ...

Well done that man.

I tried searching for every possibility that I could but I searched for Hashimara rather than Hasimara and it explains why I didn't find it.

For anybody interested it is where the second Rafale sqn is to be based.

Has anybody done ...

Gents, I am guessing that the answer is no but you guys have surprised me many times before so i will ask the question. Has anybody done any scenery, or even just an afcad for Hashimara AFS (VEHX)? Nothing is permanently based their yet, but soon will be, however the reason i am interested is that J...

Re: JYAI P-8A

I may be slightly inaccurate here but I believe that if I am somebody will correct me. If there is a dedicated FSX version of a model then there will not be a specific P3D conversion as it will work fine there. There was an FSX version released and I checked the Oceania regional package for the Matr...

Absolutely agree, John.

I was more thinking about the process here as we do get this question occasionally and it also applies to civvie stuff that you can get on other sites.

Re: omani C-130 FS9

BJ, It seems that Jim maybe has not completed some of them to FS9 standard but are you not able to convert the rest yourself? It really is a simple task to convert them. If a complete graphics dunce as myself is able to convert dds files to FS9 bmps using just DXTBMP, and, where needed, Paint. Belie...

Re: WSMG F-16

The short answer here is always - when they are ready. This series was designed from the start to be very high representations of each variant. As such they take time. The number of modellers dropped from two to one and that one is also learning the nuances of modelling for P3D versions at the same ...

Re: FS9 Glowingheat SR-71

If it keeps stalling it sounds as if you have either got the speed wrong in the flightplan or that the program overrides the speed that you set. A quick look on the web and I found this page http://www.bobholland.com/fs/fsnav/default.htm I noticed that there is a panel with various settings for the ...

Re: RAF Brüggen: Help needed with ADE Frequencies

Absolutely agree there, Tim. I think that a lot of afcad designers, especially in the prominent days of FS9, cut across the comms of existing afcads even the defaults so it wasn't an issue. The only times I personally encountered it was when a developer added the real world comms all in the interest...

Re: RAF Brüggen: Help needed with ADE Frequencies

The freqs that we had issues with were over 130, and I think at least one under, but I can't remember the specifics. I do remember that you could set them, and you would get no errors but they just would not register in game and AI aircraft just did not talk to them. I thought that I read that the F...

Re: RAF Brüggen: Help needed with ADE Frequencies

I think that the range for FS9 is also smaller in size than in reality, but I could be wrong there. I just remember the trouble with Miramar and in the end we ended up using the original in game freqs to get full comms.

Re: RAF Brüggen: Help needed with ADE Frequencies

As well as the fact that only VHF freqs can be used there was also the fact that FS9 couldn't address the full VHF range. Whether FSX/P3D have a greater capability I can't say for sure but I seem to remember something along those lines when we had freq issues at Miramr.
