I have to say that that does look very impressive.
Shouldn't be too difficult to create the scheme for the PoW wither.

Re: New Laptop infos
What I would say straight away is that 16GB of RAM will run MSFS quite happily. It has to be said that it is probably better for a laptop than a desktop for this reason. MSFS will run with that but if you run other things at the same time you can quite easily get into a situation were graphics are b...

Re: Not good news for USAF enthusiasts…
Jeez, i never thought that the USAF would ever copy the RAF in paint jobs.
I have to think though that there has to be some identifying marks somewhere or a crew would have difficulty finding their aircraft. For the maint guys it would be a nightmare maintaining records without them.

Re: AI Aircraft Editor.NET Update
You are wise to take such things seriously. The question is whether it is accurate or not. From my point of view AIAE.Net has not just been updated. So the question is what has changed. Has there been a new update to Spyhunter 5, or to its definitions? I am thinking that yes is likely, so if that is...

Re: ai tracker x issues
OK then without any other knowledge the only thing I can suggest is that there is no AI traffic in that region at that time. Obviously if you can see Ai traffic but it is not listed then there must be a configuration issue somewhere. As far as I read only .Net 4.8 and simconnect are required for it ...

Re: ai tracker x issues
I don't have it but a quick look at the documentation says that there is an installer for each version of P3D.
Have you checked that you have installed the version that matches the one you are running?

Re: MSFS 2020
Slightly off track here but I think it is relevant to mention that the SU12 beta is available for people who want to try such things. Some of the fixes are aimed at traffic and from what I have read on the official forums people that have checked AI seem to agree that SU12, in its current state, has...

Re: MSFS 2020
I don't think that is accurate. What Greg mentions about the WoAI Installer is accurate. We were happy to use that in the early days but quite quickly we ran into trouble where our package design ran into problems with path name length. The installs weren't the problem but uninstalls were. WoAI coul...

Re: flightsim.to
I tend to agree with you, Tim. I feel that the TOS in its final state will be altered enough that the overwhelming majority of producers will be happy with it. Once that happens I do see that a very slow return by the developers but it will take time for two reasons. One, once you move something you...

Re: Editvoicepack X and XL
It could that some security function has been tightened up somewhere in the OS. Program Files(x86) is a protected folder but the early problems I remember with 3.1 was that FS9 was in that folder and that was causing grief. There are 3 things I would check. Firstly, see if the program itself is runn...

Re: Editvoicepack X and XL
I only use 3.1 so I can't comment on problems with the other versions. I assume that you have checked the website and had a look at the problems running the program page. My gut feeling is that something that EVP uses. Either a library or .NEt. I would try the SFC/ scannow command to see if there is...

Thanks, Tim.
Keep us updated, especially if you here where specific developers are moving their stuff to. I would hate to lose updates from people, like nickb007 for example.

Re: flightsim.to
If you tried to enforce it in Togo, you'd struggle! Togo's domain is .tg. .to is Tonga. Really must reboot my brain, said Togo, meant to say Tonga - as you stated in the first place. On the subject of uploads it seems that there has been no new ones as of 02:04 a.m. Feb 19. Whilst only two of the u...

Re: flightsim.to
I hear what you are saying but if they agreed to let any upload be pulled before Mar 5 then they won't have a leg to stand on on that duplicating point. I do agree though that trying to get any legal decision and, crucially, be enforced in Togo will be difficult. All the developers can do pull all t...

Re: Preview of our first MSFS package
OK it has been mentioned in other threads but I will try to encapsulated the situation as briefly as possible here. There were two packages prepared for imminent release. What stopped them was SU11. With that update Asobo broke aspects of AI behaviour. The developers here were not comfortable releas...

Re: flightsim.to
Oh boy. It would seem that MSFS addons need a new home. Whether avsim or flightsim.com can fit the bill I don't know. Maybe it will need a completely new site. After all flightsim.to came out of nowhere to become the de facto repository so a new one could do that. Now on the subject of keeping what ...

Re: flightsim.to
Wow.
So if I read this correctly, they could take some freeware upload and allow somebody else to include in a product and receive monetary gain. Is this correct, or am I getting this wrong?
