Re: MAIW NBAI Grumman F-14 Tomcat Conversion

There was only one B model released plus 5x A models and 3x D models.

If I remember correctly the B model was the one off prototype and not the A+ that was later renamed to B

Re: V-22 Osprey

I heard that they are trying to form a Marine Corps w/o actually calling them Marines, sounds too agressive. So well in keeping with that I guess.

Not the colour that you would expect the JGSDF to use but nice anyway.

Re: JYAI C-130J Specials

Well done John. I am hoping that a bunch of people will produce small packages to replace the old HTAI schemes that I have. Obviously I will have to keep his Es around but I can live with that. There is an opportunity for those that wanted to dip a toe in the water here but are not that confident. T...

Re: Web access and download very very slow

Well I just tried that same file to see if there was a problem with that and it took me 7 secs to download it. So the file and server have no issues at the moment. I just did a speed test on my connection and got 52.7 Mbps download and 14.7 Mbps upload and that is using my VPN connection not even di...

Re: Secretive Poseidon... can we call it an EP-8E?

OK new equipment but is it contained in the same pod?

If it is then we know that it is a known quantity, from what I read, if not then we will only find out over time.

Re: Secretive Poseidon... can we call it an EP-8E?

The key question here is are they the same pods that were on the P-3s?

Re: Secretive Poseidon... can we call it an EP-8E?

If it is that secret it definitely won't be called an EP-8. What I don't understand is why they don't base the unit at KNFW?

Re: 1,000,000 Downloads

It really is a team thing. The success is not only to the people that produce the goodies here but the appetite of the followers. It is a circle of life. No production would equal less appetite which will lead to less production. Everybody has a role in our success. As long as the people that congre...

Re: Matrix Region Updates

In Simple terms no. To do that would need a rewrite of the Matrix app and would make life a lot more complicated in terms of downloads. At the moment you download one package, a stream of two packages for NA. To do what you are asking would mean that each package be broken down into nations and a wh...

Re: A question about TNG's

Yes you need to alter the plans to avoid issues. Take the first leg as an example LOXZ-LOWL. This is one leg. Simple. However when you add a TNG you need two legs. LOXZ-LOWL and LOWL-LOWL. Also the leg following a TNG leg MUST begin at least 1 min and no more than 5 minsafter the TNG ends. The MAIW ...

Re: Need some guidance

So if I can sum this up. You want to install the package but it takes up too much space overall. What you would like is to select which bases or aircraft to install from each region.

Is this correct?

Re: JYAI C-130J Specials

If it is set to an 8 week flight plan then set it back to 5 and re-compile. The plan itself on the txt file it says 5Weeks, but on AIFP it says 8Weeks. John is correct about all those plans being 5 week plans. I just downloaded the P3D pack and loaded the traffic into AIFP. Now it might be that whe...

Re: FSX/P3D Attack Aircraft Conversions

Greg has said before that the Matrix will focus on current deployments.
Therefore outside of, potentially, the Argentine AF the Brazilian Navy and Draken International it is unlikely that any will be included.

Therefore any other inclusions in your system would have to be manual.

Re: JYAI C-130J Specials

Don't forget that the leg number should be checked against the numbers in the last column not the first. The first column automatically puts them in day/time order. The last column is the order that they appear in the text file. Also make sure that you have the time zone set to UTC not local as this...
