I certainly did Gary, your post was totally blank at my end:

Now I know what "Black is the new grey" meant.

Re: Eurofighter Typhoon

Something interesting I discovered after a trip to the MAIW Facebook page - a repainted RAF 9 Sqn black "Aggressor" Typhoon. Painted at Coningsby and now at Kinloss: https://www.blogbeforeflight.net/2020/09/royal-air-force-aggressor-typhoon.html I'll paint that, but I'll hold on just for a week or t...

Re: Eurofighter Typhoon

I've found them. They were waypoints created by Tim when he made the German flight plans. He did send them to me but I think I forgot to include them in the German Typhoon Zips. I'll confirm that this evening and post the waypoints. John Update: Guilty as charged, I had left them out of the German z...

Re: Eurofighter Typhoon

Just 3 small changes to the aircraft.cfg file aircraft entries for the Italian Typhoons in FSX and P3D (FS9 is fine): [fltsim.92] model=EF2000_Pirate_2seat does not exist - should read EF2000_Pirate_2seat_standard [fltsim.93] model=EF2000_Pirate_2seat does not exist - should read EF2000_Pirate_2seat...

Re: Eurofighter Typhoon

Right, apologies, dealing with the two traffic discrepancies: - Giorgio and Jim are correct in that there is a small mismatch "T2/F2" with the aircraft names and the aircraft.cfg file for 12 aircraft in the Saudi traffic files. The corrected files (FS9 and FSX/P3D) are in the attached zip. I'll hold...

Re: Eurofighter Typhoon

Yes you can combine all the Typhoons into one folder if you really want 28 models, 465 paints and 465 aircraft entries in the aircraft.cfg file. For me, flexibility is more important. It's why the traffic files are broken down as they are. Giorgio, the Tu-95MS-6 is a Tim's tease. Install the aircraf...

Not repaints, original paints. Ray contributed all of the Saudi paints and the Spanish and the Germans, including the specials.

Re: Eurofighter Typhoons by JYAI team

I'm assuming this is for FS9 or FSX. In that case you can leave the Coningsby scenery in place if you have it. You obviously need to remove previous flight plans and Typhoons to make way for the new ones. If it's P3D, then as Ian's manual says, first ensure any other examples of the airfield are dis...

Re: Eurofighter Typhoon

The date of the Scramble announcement of the Special liveries is 19 September. Ray painted the Saudi Typhoons well before then, so no, they are not included.

Re: A-10 textures all black at KDMA

If I remember rightly Steve, we had this problem when designing ACG scenery. As you say, the default FSX Texture_Max_Load setting is 1024 pixels. We were using 2048 textures on some of the structures, having set the Texture_Max_Load to that value. However, if any adjustment is made to any of the dis...

Re: A-10 textures all black at KDMA

Steve, the clue might be in "most of the textures for the A_10s are black" (first post). I encounter that problem occasionally when I'm designing and I've put something stupid in one of the aircraft texture folders instead of the correct texture. The sim loads the textures correctly until it reaches...

AIFP 3.3.1.7 validated the flight plan fine with "Suppress warnings" unchecked. However, I also tried my much earlier V2.2.07 and that found a heap or warnings.

Re: F-35 Variants (FS9, FSX and P3Dv4)

Very well expressed Steve. That's exactly how I have my libraries set up in FSX. As you say, FS9 objects with a transparency in them, for example, trees and fences. will not usually display correctly in FSX. The other common problem is co-planar flickering where textures for doors, windows or signs,...

Re: MAIW NBAI Grob G 115 Tutor Conversion Support

Hi Trembler111 and welcome to the forum. My advice to you would be to read the home page of the MAIW and to see what we do here. The clue is in the two middle letters of our name. The aircraft you are trying to find are not designed to be user flyable. They are AI aircraft and should be used in conj...

Those 4 are from a set of 10 individually numbered Mk1a's of 19 Sqn that I made a while ago. I can only have a formation of 4 in the tool I used to take the screen shots unfortunately.

Re: Yet another cock-up...

I'm not clear what "MAIW scenery" means Steve from what miggers says. Does is mean that all the "MAIW" scenery is in individual folders within Addon Scenery (OK), or does it mean that all the .bgls have been dumped together in Addon scenery/scenery (not OK)? Or does he mean "MAIW Culdrose" is in the...
