And the Embraer airfield (SBGP) is nearly there.

Re: AI for MSFS
When we were developing AI aircraft for MSFS we just used FSX traffic files compiled with AIFP. The files worked fine, the problem was that the MSFS AI engine was broken by Asobo and created problems itself.

Re: Scenery and supporting AI for John's KC-390
Just a quick update on what I'm doing at the moment. I'm building the Embraer factory airfield, SBGP. What you see in the screen shot is the left side of the final assembly complex. I probably have the same amount of buildings yet to make on the right. What makes this easier than most sceneries, is ...

Re: Scenery and supporting AI for John's KC-390
The EMB-145 derivatives (C-99A, VC-99A, VC-99B, E-99M and R-99) are all done. For the developers and painters working on the project, I have added the aircraft to Tim's FTP folder/SimObjects, along with a traffic file that covers these aircraft plus the KC-390s in the traffic folder. Please delete T...

Re: Loring AFB in FSX
Paul, I don't know which era you are setting up for Loring, but I did provide an FSX version of the base from John's airfield in my B-36 package:

Re: Scenery and supporting AI for John's KC-390
I was really asking the people who are contributing flight plans to the Brazil project - hence "who's doing what" in my previous post. The MAIW convention was to distinguish military from civil, hence "Mil" in my file name, then country or air force, then type, then unit. I don't...

Re: Scenery and supporting AI for John's KC-390
92 A-29s, if we were to include them all, would take a lot of flight planning work, assuming we don't have them already. I'm finding the flight planning for the C/VC/E and R-99s a little tricky, with Scramble leading me astray. I need to check each flight too that the destination has the right parki...

Re: Embraer KC-390
I've re-done the paintwork on the KC-390 to match the RGB values used by Ray on his Brazilian camo. It's quite a bit lighter and will help with the P3D gloom. This is FSX:

Re: WSMG F-16
Are we recommending 2048 x 2048 textures for P3D? I've always stuck with 1024 x 1024, being a quarter of the size, storage-wise.

Yes, I found those too at SBRJ while I was doing some prep for flight planning the EMB-99s.

Re: Embraer EMB-145 Derivatives
These are the finished initial paints for each of the EMB-145 derivatives for the upcoming Brazil package for FSX and P3D. Re: Scenery and supporting AI for John's KC-390
Well done Ray, the paints look great. I'm glad you raised the query on spelling. Mine is OK on the KC-390, but on checking, I realised that I have missed out the "Forca". It was hiding behind the engine on the reference photo! I can correct that when I revise the camo RGBs. It's great to h...

Re: Scenery and supporting AI for John's KC-390
Ray, thanks for that. I'm going to run with your RGB values for the Brazilian camouflage. It's a little bit lighter than mine and that will help in the more gloomy P3D setting. To see the difference in the texture sample below, the left side of the KC390 fuselage has your values and the right side, ...

Re: Embraer EMB-145 Derivatives
Mexico has the P-99 Maritime version too, with a large radome under the fuselage like the R-99 but with an added hump on the top of the fuselage towards the nose.

Re: Embraer EMB-145 Derivatives
What is the difference between a regular ERJ-145 and the C-99 version? Couldn't you just use the AIG model for those paints? I had to build the C-99 first in order to make the E-99 and R-99. The base paints are essentially the same for all 3 aircraft. Sorry Steve, I meant to include the Indian AWAC...
