New computer, new problems
I recently upgraded to a new computer, running Windows 10. I have FSX Acceleration installed and I'm having problems installing 3rd party scenery. I have gone to scenery/addon scenery/ specific file, hit add, and there is no action. if it does load, there is no name just an empty space. Any solution...

Re: F-35 Variants (FS9, FSX and P3Dv4)
Looks like Wisconsin ANG and Alabama ANG can also be added to the list, as both were approved as the first ANG units to be assigned the F-35.

Re: Kawasaki C-1s and EC-1
It is no problem John, I was in the USAF during 76-86, and I was stationed at Yokota (76-78). I attended the airshows at Iruma (formerly Johnson AB), and we always chuckled when the C-1's would fly over, or when they attended Yokota's airshow. They were referred to as "baby C-141's" or &qu...

Re: Kawasaki C-1s and EC-1
Fantastic job John. Brings back memories of my time stationed at Yokota (76-78). Actually did 2 loads on one. But I was wondering if the all silver versions of both 402 Hikotai and 403 Hikotai could be done. As I do mid 1960-1970 version, the camo was not yet done. But, again many thanks for this ai...

Re: Perrin AFB
I can make it available, it is for FSX. I too was at Truax, as an ANG member with the 115th Combat Support Sq, when we had the F-102. Good birds. I also have Richards Gebaur, Clinton-Sherman, Great Falls, Malmstrom, Donaldson, and Turner.

Re: Missile Batteries
Very nice, thanks. I have researched the BOMARC's, and they had 2 different storage/launch buildings. Don't necessarily need all to be erect launchers, one up, one down and stowed. Easier to put into scenery with IS3.

Missile Batteries
I have been basically working "or living" in the 60's as far as FSX is concerned, mostly military, SAC, TAC, NORAD, MAC. I have noticed that a lot of installations had been col-located with air defense missile batteries (Nike, Nike Ajax, Bomarc), and out west strategic ballistic missile si...

I am currently working on Richard-Gebaur AFB (aka Dickie-Goober), for FSX. Time period places F-102, C-54/C-119/C-130/C-124 during a transition period of it's MAC squadrons. Screenies to follow soon.

Re: Charleston AFB (KCHS)
I had the same problem with ADE, I removed some of the parking lots on the military side, because I was back-dating it to use C-141A, C-124, and C-130 aircraft.
Came out nicely, now I need to make flight plans for those aircraft.

Mike, will the F-102 units be getting the same treatment as the F-106's?

C-124 repaint
I am looking for someone to possibly do a repaint (or two) of JBK's C-124. I would like to have the AFRES tails (one with white bands and the other with standard MAS yellow bands. C-124C AFRES.jpg Douglas_C-124_Globemaster_II_AFRES.jpg Yes both show the white bands, but later versions had the yellow...

I have all 5 of those bases on FS9, all that was needed was a flatten file.

Re: retro andrews
Support aircraft would be C/VC-131, C/VC-137, C/VC-140 (Lockheed Jetstar), VC-6 (Beech King Air), U-4 (Aero Commander 500), C-124C (airlift of support vehicles). The DC ANG had F-100C (up to 6/1969) and then F-105D (received 6/1969).

Re: Carswell + B-58
Actually, I thought there is an AI B-58, it came with the old Alphasim/Vertavia Bunker Hill package. I will see if I can find it on my spare harddrive.
