Re: MSFS 2020
This is one of many reasons why I am still using P3Dv4.5HF2. There is plenty to be impressed by in MSFS with respect to the graphics, but there are numerous (minor, but significant to me) "issues" that are holding me back. To be fair, I do not really have the spare cash to be buying a new ...

JYAI F35B flightplans for the UK
I note that there are no UK flightplans for the JYAI F35B in the relevant P3Dv4 package (all of the UK aircraft appear to still be in the USA). Have any UK flightplans been developed for these?

Re: Lossiemouth and Brize Norton Projects
If you want FSX/P3D to use a name at all, you need to use "Brize Norton" and "EGVN" for Approach/Tower/Ground frequencies and ATIS respectively. Otherwise, all you will hear (as I have just noticed) is "Contact Approach on 127.25" instead of "Contact Brize Norton A...

Re: Lossiemouth and Brize Norton Projects
I am reasonably certain that I have downloaded v0.6, but the COMMS are still incorrect. The Tower/Ground/Approach frequencies need to have the name BRIZE NORTON, and the ATIS name needs to be EGVN.

Re: JYAI English Electric Lightning AI Pack 3
I downloaded and installed the AI Lightning Pack 4, and now I am seeing those Saudi Lightnings in P3Dv4. Problem solved.

Re: JYAI English Electric Lightning AI Pack 3
I would be surprised if I made that mistake, but I will check.
EDIT: I have just noticed that it is actually Pack 4 (even though my own folder name refers to Pack 3). I have downloaded it again, so I will replace the existing package and see what happens.

JYAI English Electric Lightning AI Pack 3
I have Packs 1,2 and 3 of John Young's English Electric Lightning installed. The Lightning models from Packs 1 and 2 display just fine in P3Dv4, but the Lightnings in Pack 3 are invisible. Is there any difference between these packs that would affect whether they display in P3Dv4?

PAI RAF Jetstream 31
I am looking for an RAF repaint (preferably XX496) for the P3Dv4 compatible version of the PAI Jetstream 31. Does anyone know if this is available? If so, can someone point me to a download link? I already have the P3Dv4 model.

Re: RAF Coningsby P3D
It is the misalignment of the centreline markings, and these are clearly visible towards the centre and the 25 end of the runway. This is an issue that also affects ORBx Dundee (and which is going to be corrected shortly in an update). Once I see misalignments of this kind, I can never "unsee&q...

Re: RAF Coningsby P3D
You would only be able to see it by looking along the runway when landing or departing, John. That top down view does not illustrate the problem.

RAF Coningsby P3D
I have installed the P3D version of RAF Coningsby, and the detail is exceptional. However, I notice that the individual white centreline markings on the runway are not aligned very well. Is there any chance that this can be corrected? If not, is there a way to remove the custom texture runway so tha...

EDIT: Does this version not include a photoscenery base image?

Re: RAF Lakenheath for FSX/P3D
I have this scenery package installed in P3D v4, but I notice that there do not seem to be any taxiway or runway lights enabled. Is this an issue with my PC, or do I need to switch on the default runway lighting?

Re: General MAIW Conversion Package issues
Can someone please direct me to a download link for the FSX version of John Young's F15 Eagle package? I have the NBAI RAF Lakenheath F15 packages installed, so the models do not work properly in P3D v4. In addition, is there an easy upgrade path for the flightplans (like the one for the updated Typ...

Re: MAIW RAF Coningsby
I am not sure if you understand the reason for my post. The localiser frequency should be 111.15 Mhz in the MAIW RAF Coningsby package, but it is 110.70 Mhz in the version I have installed on my PC. Easy enough to correct, but I just wanted to know if this has already been done?
