Re: JYAI C-130J Specials

Good day All,

I have not been successful in my search so decided to ask.
Have any repaints been done of John's C-130J-30 for the RAAF aircraft.

Thanks
Brian

Re: AI Aircraft Backtrack

Hi Guys, Thanks for the feedback. I suspect it is possibly as Tim mentioned, the shortest routing to the allocated parking, as the aircraft does not taxi all the way back to the beginning of the runway but generally to the taxiway behind it. I used the AIGround etc on P3Dv4 but have not installed it...

AI Aircraft Backtrack

Hi, I have noticed strange behaviour at one of my airports (OBBI) in P3Dv4 and P3Dv5. Aircraft, both military and civilian, stop on the runway, turn around and backtrack to an exit behind them when there is an exit less than 500 ft ahead after landing. The exit behind is often further than the one a...

Re: Thoughts on the next project

Hello all, Has any one of you repainted the two KC-130J that French AF has received very recently ? I have seen some repaints for the two C-130J-30 but not for the two tankers. These four aircraft are based at Evreux AFB along with the future German AF ones as they will be regrouped in a single joi...

Re: Overnight Drop in Frame Rates

It's strange. I have had this PC for 7 years, bought it for P3D, and its doing a great job. Weird that this only reared it's ugly head now.

Re: Overnight Drop in Frame Rates

The PC was rebooted numerous times during the whole process so can't see why the VMEM would have been the issue. However I have checked and the VMEM setting were 200mb and 1024mb which I have now upped to 16Gb and 64Gb. I have I have 230Gb free on the boot drive, so no space issues there. Thanks aga...

Re: Overnight Drop in Frame Rates

Hi Steve, It happened everywhere. All airports, both default and addon. I started by removing one RAM DIMM and the issue went away. I then swapped the RAM DIMMS and once again no issue. I cleaned the RAM slots and DIMMS contacts, reinserted all RAM and all is now fine. I might be imagining it but I ...

Re: Overnight Drop in Frame Rates

So in desperation I took the "delete generated files" option.
Unfortunately to no avail. I am still getting 5fps with nothing installed.
I think its time to start a hardware check starting with RAM.

Overnight Drop in Frame Rates

Good day All, I have exhausted my means as regards this problem. Last night my P3Dv4 was working great, without an issue. This morning when I fire it up, at a default airfield, with default F-22, I can't get above 5 frames (FPS) I have deleted the shaders and config and allowed P3D to rebuild these,...

Re: General MAIW Conversion Package issues

Thanks Steve,

I have tired Martin's AIAE and it works perfectly, better than deleting individual lines in the aircraft.cfg.

Appreciate the assistance.

Re: General MAIW Conversion Package issues

Yes have them enabled under GA in AI Traffic.
Remove the "atc_airline=" line completely or is it sufficient just to remove the "callsign" and leave the parm "atc_airline=".
Thank you

Re: General MAIW Conversion Package issues

The reason I am making this assumption is that under FSX/P3D if you do not have each aircrafts "atc_airline=" parm set to something then aircraft is automatically a GA - General Aviation - aircraft. Hi, Is there an "easy way" to mass remove line "atc_airline=" from the config, or is it a line by li...

Give SAMM a try for placing aircraft models as scenery objects.

Great. Bahrain as well please.
Getting there....I think.

The colouring is, once again confusing due to the lighting.

Any comments please before I publish.

Jim
Looking great, thanks Jim.
