Re: PAI/FMAI Tornado
I am sorry I have not reported back for some time, but I have attempted to give as much time as possible for this matter to be resolved to everyone's satisfaction. I will not wait any further before you are updated on the situation. The website Flightsimmer.com, which is the current site for the PAI...

That's unfortunate, it was probably worth a mention, just in case.

Re: PAI/FMAI Tornado
Gentlemen, just a quick note to assure you that I have not forgotten you. I await reply from the person concerned and have sent a reminder. We all need to know what is to happen to the library files .....

Re: PAI/FMAI Tornado
Hi Martin,
Yes I am very well, many thanks for asking. I call in here regularly, so I don't miss much
I hope everyone is well also.
Please do not expect an instant response, it may take a little while to sort out something.

Re: PAI/FMAI Tornado
Most of the posts in this thread contain valid information. :) (That includes the reason for the ADV model being released to the public domain) You may, or may not, be surprised to learn that I am entirely unable to say what the current state is with Flightsimmer.com. That is to say, I do not know i...

Re: RAF Chinooks
The simplest way is to check the terrain altitude on an inward flight, and adjust the afcad to the same. If you do not understand how to use ADE or similar then now is the time to learn.

Re: RAF Chinooks
The problem you have is caused by a difference in altitude between the terrain and afcad. The AI engine uses one for the outward flight and the other for the inward. You must have all the altitudes the same to avoid this anomoly.

You will no doubt be aware that it would be most inappropriate for me to speak my mind on the subject, so it must remain an understatement.

Re: Closure of WoAI - 30th April 2013
Whilst I understand your position in this Stewart, my understanding is that the PAI EULA ( a most unfortunate document in my view ) has little, if anything, to do with this situation.

Re: Closure of WoAI - 30th April 2013
But that was the agreement with the various file authors when the group started. Should WOAI shut down then the files should be withdrawn from the libraries.

I have not used it either, yet, but the author's name would suggest it to be a worthwhile tool.

Re: Model author contact information needed
If you have modified copyright files and post them without the author's permission then the reputable libraries will take them down if requested on behalf of the author. Modifying someones work without permission and then making the modified files available for all is not a good practise. Giving cre...

Re: New to ADE and military AI .
It isn't DX10 which is the problem, it is the DX10 preview version shipped with FSX which is not backwards compatible. Turn off the DX10 preview in FSX.

Re: Comox ADE help
I am quite sure you will be able to find the scenery library concerned without too much effort.
You only have to link it from the library object manager within ADE.

Re: Comox ADE help
If you don't have the scenery object library containing the light poles linked to your installation of ADE, then it cannot compile them into the file for you to see them.
