Shortly after 747's started flying into the houston area(this was in the 70's) approach told one that he would be following a dc-9 on approach. His reply was that he had the light twin in sight! i heard that one, except the one I heard was a 747 landing at SFO and the "light twin" was a 7...

No unfortunately it doesn't have the new runway. I tried but it looked stupid with the ground scenery. I only do AFCADs, I don't mess with scenery files :D I only do the parking/gates, which I can guarantee is if not 100% accurate then darn near close to it :D . I also clean up taxi-ways etc. I hate...

Also, I have made AFCADS for many other International Airports in case anyone is interested. Included in the list are KJFK, KFLL, KMCO, K...

Lol, I've google mapped all major USAF installations haha.

I would say the Kennedy Space Center is worthy of a look, Patrick AFB is just South of that.

NAS Key West?

Norfolk Naval Yards/Langley AFB/Oceana NAS/Little Creek Amphibious Base?

THis list could be forever long :D

Maybe its another one of those urban myths like the B-58 nuclear accident in the 50s, I doubt we will ever know what is truth and what is legend. It is true though that a Grand Slam was a gate guardian at Scampton for a number of years. What incident? I can remember 2 out of ?? "broken arrows&...

Just remember who the star was.........VF-84 Jolly Roger F-14A Tomcats! Yup!! Great (haha) movie. My dad is a former VF-103 "Sluggers" RIO, so now that it's VF-103 "Jolly Rogers" that's his old squadron, so therefore I've seen that movie quite a lot haha. I actually bought it on...

Took me a while to really get into NFL football, but I did. One of my regrets is not playing in High School but, all well live and learn. I'm from NY but I hate the Giants and the Jets, and for some unknown reason I'm an Atlanta Falcons fan. Why? I couldn't tell you. I've never lived in Georgia, nev...

In't there a law (in the US) that forbids the export of a new military hardware to other nations until a certain amount of months/years have passed?

I may be totally making this up but I have a feeling I've heard that somewhere....

Thank you all for the warm welcome! My interest in aviation I can trace all the way back to as long as I remember. Growing up hearing the stories from my dad's time in the Navy as a RIO I always knew I'd be going into the military and attempting to fly. I consider FS just a catalyst for my ambitions...

Greetings! First off let me say a VERY nice job on all of the packages! Military AI is the white elephant of FS but you sure did capture it and make it work! My name is Joe, I'm a 22 year old college senior who plans on entering the USAF shortly after graduation to become a (hopefully) pilot or mili...
