Re: Hiding somewhere in a secret MAIW hardened aircraft shelter

Was doing a semi-related search and discovered this thread.

I know it's a few years ago now, but did this package ever appear?

Ever hopeful

Cheers buddy, I suppose it was a tentative troll on my behalf to see if anybody else had thought about it, before starting myself.

Looking forward to your bits & pieces.

Indian C-17

Looks like the Indian Air Force is starting to take delivery of their C-17s http://www.flickr.com/photos/evansaviography/11714208586/ The larger post has more pics and some fairly close-up of the F16 repaints from Edwards. http://forums.airshows.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=57228&sid=ac089142a9...

Re: Dover AFB

It turned out to be the adjacent Doyles airport (de00_fs9.zip from Flightsim) that was missing the textures.
An update has been released with the missing textures.

Re: Dover AFB

A few "anomalies" on the airfield textures,
Lots of nice building & scenery around the camp.
Once I'd removed the static aircraft from the museum & the flight line I was a lot happier with it.

Well worth a look in my opinion.

Re: Dover AFB

I disabled it before trying & then installed into a fresh "Test" FS9 installation.
It seems to fall over when trying to load some photo-real textures. Possibly not there in the download?

All the very best to you, & here's hoping the health probs stay away this year.

Dover AFB

I discovered a scenery for Dover AFB on Flightsim by John B. Loney, Jr.

The screenshots looked interesting, so I thought I'd give it a go.

Every time I try to load it I get a CTD. No matter what season/timespec.

Anybody else tried and succeeded?

What I find very sad is the fact that the Nimrod is now part of the Retro thread.

Flightplan time change

Hope someone can help. I created a large flightplan for quite a few aircraft with numerous legs etc, unfortunately I created it in the wrong timezone. Unfortunately the majority of movements are at night and are therefore not giving the daytime movements that I was hoping for. Is there, or does anyo...

Re: Chile Work In Progress

It's using Elvis' Phalcon model he allowed us to use. I'm playing about with the IAF version, removing the side radars, but having the problems below. My knowledge of GMAX and LOD which I believe is the problem is very limited, so I've been using it to try and up my knowledge. At the moment to no av...

Re: RAFG

To try and help me understand more about this scenery stuff, how did you work out the BMP associated with the lib? Jim There is a nifty little tool that you can use to load a bgl and then produce a report which will show all the required textures for that bgl. It's official name is ModelConverterX ...
