Re: Eurofighter Typhoon

Yeah I had something like that in mind already to be honest. A list would be most useful to be honest if not just for the Typhoons either. The one thing I do need to work out is how often they do pairs work, seems like it's mostly solo but i'm planning a day at Coningsby soon so hopefully I can fin...

Re: Eurofighter Typhoon

Dan, Purely a suggestion here. It doesn't need much imagination to assume that RAF ones rigged for AG work would use ranges rather than points out in the North Sea. It was a few years ago that range waypoints were done but if you need help finding them just say and I am sure that a list can be retri...

What are people using for Los Llanos (LEAB) and Sevill/Moron (LEMO) in each of the sim versions please?

John for LEAB I am using the scenery that came in the Spanish Mirage F1 package. For LEMO I am using Tim Mayhew's scenery, from his spanishafbversion6.zip package on fltsim.com.

So it has taken them about 3 years to realise that to replace them with something else will cost more money. What can you say?

Re: Spanish A400

In all honesty ttools is close to be 20 years old and was never updated for even FSX. I would recommend that you download AIFP by Don Grovestine. It is considered the industry standard and offers so much more than the standard compile/decompile options from ttools. It is a portable app as well so it...

I am currently using John Stinstrom's addon for the package by Adam Bentley and David Madge but I will definitely have a look at this to see how it compares.

Yes try adding some steer angle to the equivalent point.1 and point.2 entries. The look in game won't change as they are not animated but it might be worth a try to see if it will turn any quicker. You could also try increasing the tail wheel angle to see if that helps as well. I have seen aircraft ...

The other thing is that until we see close up images of the new scheme painters won't be able to see the full nuances of the new look.

So they have got rid of those paler edges of panels. Can't say that I am unhappy, they may have done a job but they looked very messy.

Re: MAIW MCAI de Havilland Canada DHC-1 Chipmunk Conversion Support

I am obviously more or less thinking out loud here, as I can't check it myself. If the tail wheel steering angle is big enough but the issue is still there try adding a steering angle for the main gear legs as well. It obviously is nothing like reality but it might help. Otherwise as Johns suggests ...

It can't be easy to be such a disappointment to your kids . They will learn in time. My other half's Mother is a complete technophobe. Never used a computer, never had a credit card. She got an Ipad a couple of years ago but is so ham-fisted with it that she just keeps pressing things because s...

I need to install everything again as i had some serious problems with my PC. My AI is a mess and i have to make many fleets again. Thanks for...

Re: JYAI C-130J Specials

The plan is for the US forces to replace every H/T that they are keeping in service with the new engines and 8 bladed props. Some other countries are receiving them as well. I think that Thailand has got one, but I could be wrong about the nationality. I know that it was received towards the end of ...

Re: Brize Norton

I had a look at what I was using and I found that I was not using either the UK2000 scenery or Nick's. This did surprise me. What I found was that I had some seemingly pre-production package dated 2010, which included aircraft, plans and scenery. I have no idea who created it. There are no notes inc...

Re: A brand new MS Flight Simulator is coming...

Tim, if that is true that is both surprising and heartening to hear that. I know that things can change so I shall keep an eye out. I will be honest when I found out about how the new sim was reliant on access to the MS servers for scenery data I had this inking that it would be subscription based. ...

Re: A brand new MS Flight Simulator is coming...

Gents, I have been keeping an eye on this thing as it progresses and it has reached the Alpha 5 version, for those that have access. The Beta 1 is next. One piece of news that is interesting and possibly of great significance is that they have tied up with a professional firm that supplies up to dat...
