Lovely, here's hoping it becomes a reality. I've never liked or trusted JSF and I'd be so glad if they cut funding for it.

Re: French Hercules and Transall package by MAIW
Is this an update? :? The reason I ask is, when I went to add it to my Scenery Library , it said I already had it installed. Thanks Guys! :smt006 If you have already installed any of the French Mirage 2000 packages or the French Mirage F1 package you will probably already have the MAIW Fren...

Re: French Hercules and Transall package by MAIW
Yeh sorry about the guys with so many packages on the go it's very hard to make sure you don't miss anything and in doing so you miss very small things. The newer afd for GOOY should be used but should be in the world airbases folder. It doesn't matter what folder it's in but it is supposed to be th...

Re: Royal Navy to buy F-18F
Just heard that the RN is going to buy the F-18 , in regards to the F-35. Lots of news about this online, thought I would mention it. A F-18F SuperHornet in RN colors......saweeeeeet. Well it's certainly an exciting idea, and I can see the logic behind it, but what about carriers? We don't have any...

Re: Things that go bump...
Just seen a special forces RAF C-130J doing circuits at EGHH with two very prominent bulges, one each side of the rear fuselage, just before the tailplane. They look bigger than the regular ECM bulges. Maybe a new upgrade? I think they are probably the DIRCM or LIRCM that is the same as the SF Herc...

You have to use the controls supplied in the cockpit to open the doors. If you read the manuals it explains how to open each of the doors. In normal cockpit mode pres Shift +2 and you will see the panels menu.

Very cool. The historic feature is good, I checked out Brize Norton (EGVN) in the UK and you can see what used to be where they are building the new ASP in anticipation of Lyneham moving there.

Re: Question about fuselage
A question about modeling. When you are creating the fuselage of a military jet, would you model the fuselage with the cockpit or create the cockpit and the fuselage separately and merge them later? It depends on the aircraft, sometimes it is easier to create the whole thing and then seperate the c...

Re: Scenery File Libraries
These files are installed in some of our packages that use scenery. You will hardly notice them but they are a vital repository of models and textures that we generate our scenery from. Like Steve says the files posted on the website are simply there to allow you to see what is there and get replace...

Jeez that's so cool!!
I wonder if they'd fly you to and from Vegas every day on Janet??? Then it would be worth doing. Otherwise accomodations nearby would be a hellish experience. Even living in Beatty would be horrific for a family HEHE.

Bloody hell...making interiors was easier than I ever imagined. I always shied away from doing too many because I have always created single polys to recreate the insides. Man...I suck. Great job, Mike. HEHE I was exactly the same when I saw Mike use "Snap to Scale" I couldn't believe I'd...

Re: RAF Coningsby 121 Expeditionary Air Wing package by MAIW
Yeah you wrote about this before.....see your posts 4th February. This is where there is great confusion. As Plumber says, the traffic files are in the addon scenery folders. But you say they shouldn't be there but should be in the world/scenery folder. Except auto install doesn't put them there an...
