Re: RAF Valley
Looks like you might have another old AFCAD file. If you have AFCAD 2.21 goto File --> Open Airport, search for E1OV, you should find only one airport. When you open this airport it should be the file I posted (filename MAIW_AF2_E1OV_mod_hu.bgl). If there is more than one airport, open them to find ...

Re: RAF Valley
My Valley Heli AFCAD was designed to go with my main Valley AFCAD. As always you're free to use any third party addon you have but you'll have to modify the AFD's or make your own. :smt001 I haven't really got the time to do it myself but maybe someone else on the forums can offer you one? I modifi...

I started with NALF Fentress yesterday, it will be part of the NAS Oceana scenery.Dman wrote:Does anyone know of a Fentress sceenery? Just a meatball and some carrier markings on the runways...
There is also an addon for Fentress at flightsim.com (kntuadds.zip).

Re: NAS Oceana
Sorry for the lack of updates recently, but there is not too much new stuff to show at the moment. I have been trying to improve the performance of the scenery. At the moment my frame rates are comparable to the ones I get at the MAIW Nellis AFB scenery. This is not too bad, but I see a lot of poten...

Re: Laarbruch/Niederrhein scenery
I tested the scenery from AVSIM and did not like it.
But there is another version of Laarbruch under construction that looks really promising:

Re: Minot AFB
I would suggest to start with the AFCAD file using either Lee Swordy's AFCAD 2.21 or Airport Design Editor (ADE).Where is the best place to start when designing a scenery?
I suppose ADE is the program of choice nowadays as you can use background images and also place objects with it.

12 hops here (takes about 2 seconds), just for comparison world-of-ai.com is 8 hops (less than 0.4 seconds)
Just finished downloading the RAF Chinook package, took exactly 1 hour for ca. 18mb.

My internet connection is 569kB/s download speed (I just tested it). Trying to download the latest package from MAIW it shows ca. 8..15 kB/s.
