Re: 64 bit OS
One proviso - If you run Abacus FS Repaint it will complain about a dll being missing. Attached is the missing dll, copy it into the same folder as the FS Repaint exe file. Comes from the Microsoft Technet downloads, so should be safe. Another useful download from them is to get the DirectX runtime ...

Re: 64 bit OS
Any folder apart from "Program Files", will work just fine. Microsoft in their infinite wisdom only apply the additional security to folders called "Program Files", irrespective of what drive it is (they are) on. Also turning off UAC helps - http://www.petri.co.il/disable-uac-in-...
Re: 64 bit OS
Vista x64 and 7 x64 -
Install it to ANY other folder apart from "Progam Files" and it works great.
Oh and "Program Files" on any other drive apart from the C: drive still can cause problems, avoid "Program Files" completely.
Running Win 7 x64 here.

Would require a new model, it's based on the RQ-4B, current model is of a RQ-4A.

Waiting on one permission, then this should be next -
As explained in the README the FDE and lightmap is unique to this model!

Re: New section added to my site
Next ones ready for upload, this time -
NOTE- As explained in the README -
This needed a slight re-texture to be able to get the blue / gold cheat line to wrap around the nose. This model and both textures (871 and 872) should only be used together.

Re: Any 'Blackies' or 'Greenies'?
As long as the pics are relatively square on to the subject, so I can grab textures for parts.
Nah, doesn't matter you're not a blackie or greenie, the 'other' side is OK too
If you have ANY of the Lynx with heli-teli or fast rope fitted, that would be the icing on the cake!

Re: Best way to save a texture?
My preference - 32-bit with mipmaps.
Using DXT3 seems to degrade the quality of the texture in a lot of cases.

FSDS boolean is about the only downside to the whole program, it's that bad it would have been better to leave it out!

Re: What's Left?
I know I have a shit load of models at various stages. Every time I take a break I always start by doing a test model , Just to be sure I still have my eye in. Few (don't ask if they will ever be finished. I don't know) for example - SR-71, Gannet (3 view issues), Vulcan, EE Lightning (gear into win...
