I've just found out that I made a couple of small errors with the Aircraft.cfg and the traffic files which would have prevented 2 aircraft from showing. I have attached replacement files. Sorry about that, I'll try to check my files more thoroughly in future.

Re: 100 Squadron Canberras RAF Wyton
Sorry guys, for some reason I had downloaded the MAIW Tutors package, but had never installed it. I had forgotten that it contained a Wyton scenery. I'm installing the scenery now, and I'll take a look to see what needs to be done, if anything, to make it compatible with the Canberra packages. I'll ...

Looking really good John. I can't wait for the finished article.
I can't ever recall seeing Buccs parked with their hooks down.

Re: Blackburn Buccaneer
Hi Blackcat. The airbrakes didn't open by themselves with low hydraulic pressure. If I recall correctly, and it was a long time ago, the crew normally left the brakes open when they taxyed in. This enabled us to check the mechanism and also check the actuator for leaks. Leaving the brakes open may h...

Re: Scampton's Tin Triangle
I found the read me from Johns Scampton Scenery. Here is the list of which files contain what. Could be useful for anyone who needs to modify the scenery, such as removing the static vulcans. Scampton_1.bgl The runway, taxiways and all ground polygons (essential) Scampton_2.bgl The 4 main hangers (h...

Re: Blackburn Buccaneer
As Gary mentioned Buccs were usually parked with the Airbrakes open, and also with the flaps down and bomb bay closed. The panel hanging down from the open bomb bay door in Garys pic is a pannier, used for crew baggage on a land away. Not usually fitted but very handy for bringing back duty frees .....

Re: Blackburn Buccaneer
John, I'm really pleased that you have chosen the Buccaneer as your next project. This is will be a valuable addition to the UK retro AI scene. Having worked on Buccaneers in the dim and distant past I am particularly looking forward to this. I'm sure you have lots of info on the Bucc already, but t...

Re: Paintkit request
Hi Maurizio
Did you find the Jake Burrus F-5E/F paint kit. I've been looking all over for that.
I fancy having a go at the F-5 aggressors that were based at Alconbury.
Thanks

Re: 237 OCU Hunters
Thank you for your kind words. The file is available on Flightsim.com now. The scenery is my own very much work in progress scenery, which hopefully I'll get round to finishing one day. But I know there is at least one Honington scenery out there. As Firebird said all we now is a top quality Buccane...

237 OCU Hunters
I have just uploaded some repaints of John Youngs Hunter T7 package to Flightsim.com. These repaints represent 8 Hunters operated by 237 OCU at RAF Honington around 1983-84. I have also included some representative flight plans for the aircraft. Search for 237 OCU Hunters. They should be available i...

Re: F-111E/F and EF111A (JY)
I used to suffer the 'Runtime error R6025 pure virtual function call' quite frequently. I eventually traced it down to an AI aircraft. Once I stopped using that aircraft as AI the problem disappeared. I think it was due to a texture issue but I never really followed it up. I haven't installed Johns ...

Re: 80s Lossiemouth
Going back a bit earlier, I was on 237 OCU at Lossie 1984-86. Back then 237 OCU used what was known as Lima hard, which was ths disused runway. This had been refurbished for our move up from Honinington. Before the HAS sites were built 12 Squadron used Alpha hard, and were based in the southerly of ...

John
My vote goes to the Buccaneer, I need it to keep my Hunters company at Honington and Lossie.
Thanks for the excellent models.
