Re: MAIW aircraft sounds?
In FS2004, there is only a limited number of sound options for AI aircraft. That's why your Tornadoes sound like the 737's. The AI aircraft will use this sound from start-up until shut-down, so you won't hear them increasing throttle on the runway or anything. The options are lgjet, singleprop, smje...

Re: NTM 2011 Mirage 2000
Nothing serious don't worry. Just the usual stuff with this kind of multinational exercises: wrong squawks, wrong frequency changes, pilots with funny accents  With Cambrai close to the border, the Tigers are also flying missions over Belgium. Too bad we can't see all the cool paint jobs on our...

Re: FSX texture fixes
Hey Wim, welcome to the forums! A. Graham King already offers FSX fixes for his Mirage 2000 textures in this thread . In any case you need the permission of the painter before you upload modifications to his work. I don't remember who painted the German Eurofighters but you will find it in the packa...

James, that's because you still have the old models. The new models that come with this version don't have the underscores in the model folder name.

Re: German Navy Seakings package by Gary Barker
For users of German Airports 3 I have GAP3 but hadn't been to Kiel in a while. Now I wanted to see if I could alter the AFD's to have the Seakings integrated in the GAP3 scenery when I noticed a huge cliff between the airport itself and the part where the Seakings are stationed near the coast. Did ...

Re: Fairchild AFB in Spokane
Todd, I think you're a bit spoiled mate and that may be partly our fault :P Not everything comes in a nice installer with everything you need, like the MAIW packages. Sometimes, installing AI involves a little more work which is in my opinion the fun part of this hobby. In his Fairchild repaints pac...

Re: Question about your MAIW Nato Sentrys Package
If you want to see the aircraft do touch'n'goes at a second airport, then you just add the "TNG" code to that leg. You may need a proper "full-stop" landing leg between two touch'n'go legs - I can't remember. No you can't have two consecutive TNG legs in an IFR flightplan. It wi...

Re: Question about your MAIW Nato Sentrys Package
In flightsim, an IFR "TNG" is actually a low approach. I know you can do a touch and go out of an IFR approach in real life, but that's the way it is :D Actually when you consider the NATO E-3's, it's not that different from the real thing. I've controlled many E-3's during circuit trainin...

Re: Question about your MAIW Nato Sentrys Package
Secondly, to avoid problems there should a gap of between 2-5 mins between the legs in the flight plan. Experience has shown that if the gap is too small, or indeed if it departs before it is supposed to arrive, the plane may not show up in the sim at all. It doesn't know how to handle it and remov...

I reckon the cars problem only happens at Cazaux when you haven't activated the Belgian scenery, right?
Copy all the textures in the attached zip into the folder "Addon Scenery/MAIW French AB Scenery/Texture".
