Re: Queen Elizabeth carriers
There is an FSX model over at Sim-Outhouse. You may be able to compile it as an FS9 scenery object using MCX and then position it where you need.

Love the FAA museum. Looks just like it did when I got the chance to visit.
Really looking forward to adding this to my sim.

Be sad no longer
You can buy P3dV5 here
https://www.prepar3d.com/prepar3d-store/
It doesn't install into FSX. It is its own flight sim. You can keep FSX and have P3D running as well.

Re: Do Do Do Do.
Mins, those Skyraiders of yours are lovely AI models (as are all the other models you show us). They deserve to be released. There are lots of people who have retro installs where they would be perfectly at home. I have the beta helicopters you released a while ago happily flying in my sim and enjoy...

Looking very good Henk
I'm impressed, my modelling skills haven't progressed much beyond two squares.

Re: Thoughts on the next project
I have often thought that the Mossie would be good, but then again I want everything. If I had the Mossie I would then want the Hornet. That is the trouble with open request lists is that it generates more requests than can possibly be done in a lifetime by one person. Bit of a thread hijack but if...

Re: Agusta A109's
Thanks to Pete for spotting a problem in the two EBBE AFCADs for P3D only. The real world elevation of EBBE is 370ft and that is correct in FS9, However the FSX and P3D default is 341ft for some reason, but in FSX, the 370ft AFCADs still work. In P3D, however, you will find deep canyons when you vi...

Re: Tick 18 Conversion - Marks animated Excavator
Martin, with the newer releases of MCX tick18 animations are detected and we should be able to convert them to the newer Ambient animations.
It works for aircraft models, I suppose it will work for scenery as well.

John, I've said it before but it is worth repeating. When do you find time to eat and sleep?? Thank you so much for these nifty aircraft (which I had never heard of until your posts), not to mention all the bonus material you put into the package. Looking forward to spending more time in Sweden. Gavin

Re: Saab MFI-17
Hi John, the frame rates aren't being influenced by the aircraft or scenery - if I set Target Frame Rate to unlimited I am getting well over 100 FPs. I set the damping ratio in the Aircraft.cfg to both 0 and 1 (separate tests obviously) and the behavior persists when I artificially restrict the FR t...

Re: Saab MFI-17
Hi, can confirm that frame rates are a factor. I set my target FR in FSX-SE to 10 and the Saabs started bouncing around like they had ants in their pants (even when parked). I waited till one started to taxi and then raised my target FRs to 30, the plane bounced around a little bit more and then set...

Re: Saab MFI-17
Sorry, can't help more than that. I don't see the behaviour in P3D. In FSX I see the behaviour when I am viewing AI with time sped up but the behaviour reverts to normal once I reset the time to 1x

Re: Saab MFI-17
From the FSX SDK
gear_system_type This parameter defines the system type which drives the gear extension and retraction.
0 = electrical
1 = hydraulic
2 = pneumatic
3 = manual
4 = none
I would assume that since they have fixed gear it should be 4
