Re: P3D v4.5 hotfix 3

Thanks for the info. not enough there for me to risk making a mess of my current setup as it seems pretty stable at the moment.

Re: P3Dv5 is here.

Think I will give it a month or so whilst they iron out the kinks. I am averse to being an unpaid beta tester !!

On the other hand I might just wait for FS2020 !!

You are probably missing various models required in the packages. Have another read of the "Readme.txt"

Re: RNLAF CH47D Chinook 298 SQN 75th Anniversary

Finally got astound to installing this paint to my P3Dv4 with NL2000 using Dales NL AH64/CH47 package. Took a while to sort out the EHGR parking but the effort was well worth it. The paint is stunning, thank you very much !!

No probs Steve. I forgot you were still in the Stone Age :-)

I have stopped making any purchases for P3D until the way forward is clearer.

I have done a hack job on those files and converted them to P3Dv4 with the correct ICAO. You can have them If you want them !!

The other problem, there is no indication of when the image was taken. But hopefully more information will lessen the uncertainty.

Re: E-2 Hawkeye and C-2 Greyhound

The only serials mentioned as VAW-123 are:
165299 - E-2C (Group II NAV upgrade) (600 on nose AB on tail)
165822 - You already have (was a VAW 117 bird)

Re: E-2 Hawkeye and C-2 Greyhound

Got the latest copy of “Airforces Monthly” through my letterbox this morning (issue 385 April) and it has a very good article on the E2 fleet.

Re: Re-igniting the FS9 v FSX v P3D

I always preferred FS9 to FSX but finally made the transition to P3D when V4 came out. This time around I will await the release of FS2020 and then make a decision. All ideas of purchases are currently on hold until things become clearer. I believe that FS9 is slowly losing support but it will be so...

Have new Airports been added that have been built since FSX came out.
I’m thinking Beijing and Istanbul initially but there are many more.

Re: FSX RAF Coningsby and ADE

I had a problem with that when I tried to set it up in P3Dv4. I think I finished up merging a huge number of aprons. I did this for P3Dv4 though so not sure if it would be backward compatible with FSX. You can have the file if I can find it.

Re: Thoughts on the next project

That would be a big project if I were to design and paint new Typhoons for all 3 sims ado. It's a possibility, but I'm not going to make that decision yet. I keep telling myself not to work again on the scale of the F-35's, Tornado's and C-130's, but my brain doesn't always concur. John And the res...
