You need native FSX/P3D models, FS9 ones will not show correctly. A simple way to verify the model .MDL files is to open them with a text editor like Notepad ++ and check the 1st line for the format string: MDL8MDLH = FS9, cannot be used in P3Dv5 MDLXMDLH = FSX PV20MDLH = P3Dv2-3 PV44MDLH = P3Dv4.4...

NBAI models (NBAI A/B/C/D package is currently in conversion). Good to know; I thought NBAI had been abandoned since JYAI and KRAI filled the gaps... In fact the only F-15s I could actively think of that were missing such as MA ANG have been or seem to be getting painted on to the JYAI aircraft...

So here is my first cut of updating KEDW; the static F-16's are still in place; I was able to get rid of two of the ugly static B-1s on the south end, however the one sticking out of the hangar is still present... While that might explain the issue with this one particular instance; what about all the other FSX objects (admittedly many non-stock) that refuse to show up....???

Indeed... But it also raises the question how many other default objects are just like these ones...??? So that means LM either needs to find and fix them all, or once again give V5 better backwards scenery compatibility, which I believe is most likely very doable as this was not an issue in V4...

Yes that does look very nice! Glad to hear it was easy... My bigger concern is that hangar and the one next to it also have V5 rendering / displaying issues... In sim they look transparent hence the reason I took this issue to the P3D forums...

I believe that these are the same objects from FSX /ESP or at least they look exactly the same... That being stated I also believe this may be related to the other issue we have been seeing of some scenery objects that rendered / displayed properly in previous versions of P3d not showing properly or...

Yea that is the issue... These buildings and aircraft are a single .mdl file and truth be told I am not a modelling guy / don't have any modelling experience... So I am now working on Edwards AFB... One thing I noticed is the default static F-16s and hangars on the west end look really rough... Also for what it is worth AIA released both F70 and F100 models which are converted for FSX / P3d and AIG released PBR versions of these models...

Odd as it is titled to be for AIA and the headline in the download section says "Repaint Fokker F70 - Myanmar AF (AIA)" no less I don't think the FMAI F-70 was ever converted to FSX / P3d was it?
