I think I had it installed within 10 minutes of it hitting AVSIM! I wondering if I can make it mesh with Gordon Perry's Hurlburt scenery.

Thanks for your hard work!

There is not a "clearinghouse" site that I know of that gives individual squadron numbers. The total number of an aircraft type is is not hard to find. I think the yearly Air Force Almanac has those numbers buried in it some where. I usually work backwards from that number when I'm doing f...

Sorry if this is OT, but does anyone know of a scenery that could be used for this release?

I flew there last night and it is really cool to have all the different serial numbers on the planes!

BTW, no problems on the install. Piece of cake. You guys outdid yourselves once again. :D

If you dig Lakenheath then you must get the latest issue of Combat Aircraft (vol. 8, no. 3).

The feature story is called The Liberty Wing Special : The illustrious history of the 48th Wing.

Great story, incredible photos

which means a flyover of my house in AA. That would be very cool. I usually have to settle for a F-18 or A-10 flyover of a U of M football game.

But we do have the Blues in the area on successive weekends this summer. :D

At flightsim search for "Brian Voigt". It should pull up the version of McChord scenery that you need.

reading your post and just wondering: Can you put lights inside the hanger? I think that if the hangers were open all the time, it would be really cool to go down the flight line at night and see the birds lit up in their hangers. and tying the TNG's to a hanger sounds like a great idea. I just thin...

Sorry for saying so but I think that's bit of a weak excuse... Anybody with access to the Scramble database could have given you the numbers, took me less then a minute to find these: That was not a very grateful sounding post. It is true that Scramble is a great source for serial #'s but it is als...

Do you know why they were all there at the same time? Were they deploying a battalion to the Middle East or was it some sort of exercise?

Just curious! :)

I compared the two last night. The MAIW one is much better than the Alphasim IMHO. I'm looking to add the 3 AT-38's (if I can find a repaint), the lone C-12 (I think Graham has painted this one), the 3 F-16's that Lockheed tests for the UAE, and the 25 German Tornados. Also the 30 QE F-4 drones out ...

As I was reviewing logs, I found just about everything will land there. trainers, acadamy a/c, ANG, helos, a little bit of everything. Mostly transitioning the conus and flying to ranges out west.
