Spanish Air Force pack for FS9

Post by timbob1 »

Ok after sitting for a year gathering dust I've decided to release my Spanish AFB pack on Flightsim.com. Just scenery only at the moment.
Hope you all enjoy it as much as I had fun making it and thanks to the MAIW guys for their help with information, testing, flightplans, repaints, AFCAD design, photo's :smt006 etc etc the list is endless, thanks guys, José, Diego, Giacomo Gramazio, Steve Holland, Juan Ojados Gonzalez, Eduardo Jarabo, Zsolt Beleznay (Repaints), Antonio Santana Jiminez, Ramón Rodríguez for permission. I hope I’ve included everyone
:D search for Spanish Air Force Pack for FS2004 or Tim Mayhew on Flightsim.com

Thanks Tim and your team. Its Looking great.
Just one question. What textures are you using for the trees? After installing your package the trees are not textured. In the MAIW airbase-packages the trees are textured so I'm missing something somewhere. :cry:

hmmn thats odd, I believe I used the Matt Tomkins trees that are in the MAIW libraries, strange I'll check it out. Is that all the trees? Sometimes I don't know why but in the past I've had to copy textures from some ez libraries into the main texture file??? Crazy hey although the texture path says different? Anyone else have this problem?

Now it's getting weird;
I used Ray Parkers screenshot to compare. He has not trees but a fence, I have non textured 'something' and no fence.

Those look like missing trees. You can just make out the "crossed" polygons.

Hmmm that's odd - I got the same results as Ray.....minus the F-5's.....

My scenery slider is set to Extremely Dense; have you got any other scenery in use in that area, or an AutoGen program?

I unchecked the scenery of Istanbul (LTBA 2008 v1.21) and the trees were visible but still no fence and the trees shouldn't be there. :x
I keep searching for a solution.

One problem solved;
It was MTtrees2.bgl file in both 'LTBA 2008 v1.21' and 'LTBS_Dalaman2010' scenery. I removed it.
I still have no fence but I keep searching and trying.
Thanxs guys for helping me out and Ray thanxs for the SF-5M package.
