I can't see nuffink
Re: Did I just see...
I've never seen them at Tonopah, they must be mostly deployed - (however many there are) I'd imagine there are only 2 or 3 examples around!
Re: Did I just see...
They (if there is more than one) don't seem to carry any markings so it's tough to tell. A Korean newpaper reported last year that one was being operated out of Kunsan or Osan AB, can't remember which one, but that was never verified.
I think it's a black program that is being used to test new types of ISR capabilities in combination with a stealthy UAS type vehicle. The fact that they have flown it in broad daylight from Kandahar tells me that they're not too concerned about the vehicle and probably the real secrets are in the payloads that it carries.
Yes I have completed a basic AI model of it based on the best research I can find but the few drawings are inconsistent at best and the few photos are not much help either.
Will probably just throw the model out there for you guys to play with since we really can't confirm where it is these days or where it's been flying and the actual model represents a "best guess" on my part.
It's a tiny beast that's for sure.

You know this past weekend I drove a good distance to go to a bookstore that I know sold this magazine only to find this months "September" issue right there on the shelf where it should be, grab it full of excitement, only to discover that you guys must be talking about October's issue or are getting a different issue than that one I was looking at because there wasn't anything in the one I was looking at about the RQ-170.btaylo24 wrote:New current pictures of the RQ-170 in this months Combat Aircraft Mag,flying into Creech.
